This is a great breakfast/lunch spot. I really like their pancakes, grits and omelettes. I haven’t tried the lunch menu yet but I usually go to the Toasted Mango during breakfast hours.
Everyone one that works here are so friendly and attentive. My coffee mug was never cold or empty. Even as we were leaving our server offered to give me a cup of coffee for the road! When does that ever happen?

Went to Toasted Mango Cafe for brunch Monday at 12pm with one other person. The host told us it was self-seating, so we sat outside. It took over 15 minutes for someone to get our drinks, and the service felt very cold the entire time. Our food came out before we even had silverware, and we had to ask the food runner for it. The server only checked on us once.
My partner and I also noticed other tables weren’t being neglected the way we were. Customer service definitely needs improvement, especially making sure all guests feel equally attended to. For two people, the bill was around $85 including tip, which would have felt more worth it if the service matched the prices. I did notice in other reviews that customer service hasn’t been the best here, and unfortunately that matched our experience.
The food itself was pretty good, but the service definitely took away from the overall experience.

Good experience! Friendly staff and yummy food. Stopped here for breakfast with my husband and daughter while on vacation. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was because they didnt know how to make eggs over hard. First came out with runny yolk and next came out with yolk and egg whites mixed together. Everything else was delicious though. My husbamd had the toasted mango special with pancakes and my daughter had the toasted mango special with French toast. I had the Sarasota omelet. The homemade biscuit is toasted on a grill and the mango butter is amazing. The place is super cute also

I dined for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was busy, as expected, but the service did not lack. I sat myself at the bar. Staff were personable, attentive, polite and professional.
I ordered the Toasted Mango Special, opting for French toast instead of waffles and the mango butter.
The coffee stayed flowing, the atmosphere was great and my meal came out hot and fresh.
The mango butter was fantastic and complimented the French toast nicely, eggs were as ordered, bacon was crispy and the potatoes were great.
It’s a simple meal but in my opinion, if a restaurant can do the simple things right, much of the time, they do everything else right.
This was my first time here while visiting the area (Jacksonville native, Go Jags!) but I love the area and hope to visit again another day and stop in for another meal.

My experience here was great, no complaints. I had the BYO Omelet and I fully enjoyed it. It was filling and the potato pancake was cooked really well. Service was attentive. They lay your check down when you get your food but you dont feel rushed. Pretty good Playlist as well.

OMG!! I want to live close to Sarasota to visit this place every single day. While on vacation I went to this place to eat breakfast 2 days in a row. The cold mango tee…AMAZING!! The fresh squeeze grapefruit juice to die for. The food is just like being in heaven Definitely Plus the service is phenomenal, you feel like at home. LOVED IT!! It is a Definitely MUST TRY!! You would not regret it!

I wanted something light for an early lunch and decided to try their mango smoothie. It was delicious, so I tried the berry smoothie as well. The employees were really nice. It looked like a great place for breakfast also! I’ll definitely return on my next flight to Sarasota.

That reminder that we aren’t wanted or welcomed everywhere. My multiracial family party of 8, ages 60yrs to 6 months were excited to visit your Cafe today in Siesta Keys. We waited patiently as party after party were seated before us. We were told 20 mins and waited for over 30mins. It wasn’t until we watched party our size that came in way after us and watched them get seated. We tried to give the benefit of doubt and when we calmly and kindlydecided to ask the the hostess about our table we were dismissed, ignored and treated very rudely.
it’s quite unfortunate and an big nasty pill to swallow.

Breakfast omelette was very good, the spicy one, although it wasn’t really spicy it was very flavorful and I would get it again. The service was very attentive and my coffee never got empty. Nice spot downtown. Was able to find on street parking on a weekday morning.

Came in by myself and as usual sat at the counter (plenty of seats available), server behind bar said hello, asked how I was doing – the usual friendly vibe. It was 11:45 and I asked if they were serving lunch, he said yes. Next thing I know I’m getting a lecture by a female employee about not having checked in with her – she clearly was miffed so I did what I was told and departed. Sad, I’ve always liked this place and I’m NOT a tourist but someone who spends most of the year here. I guess she would welcome me in July
