This place is worth going out of the way for if you are a fan of New Mexico Green Chili. We found it on a road trip and strongly recommend it! We tried the bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeño poppers as an appetizer and fell in love.
The salsa here is truly next level by the way! Just the right amount of heat and flavor. We had multiple refills it was that good.
We decided to try multiple entrees to get a proper feel for the menu. We decided on an open faced Green Chili Burger with fries and our only regret was ordering one burger and not getting a second one!
We also got the chili rellenos with red and green chili. They were delicious as well.
It makes us sad that we don’t live closer and could enjoy this food more often. We will be back someday for sure!

Our first visit, and we were very pleased. Great atmosphere, and our server Dustin provided us with great menu recommendations . Their salsa was delicious, and our entrees were equally tasty, and hit all the right spots. We will definitely return and explore more of the menu.

Red chili Mac and cheese was amazing and a must try. I have never eaten spicy Mac and cheese anywhere else. However Carne Adovada And Pappitas Plate was too salty and not edible at all. A lot of people recommend carne adovada. I actually quite like strongly flavored dishes. But this was way beyond my limit.

A true gem! We had the New Mexico spicy chicken wings. 8 juicy wings covered with a smoky red chili sauce and a side of perfectly crispy fries. The spice makes your lips burn but you lick your fingers all the same. Any sauce that rubs up on the fries is a special treat as well. The side of cooling ranch was fresh and tangy. Our server Dustin was very attentive. Highly recommend.

Eat here! We are from Texas and this place is amazing! The food had so much flavor. Do not come here expecting bland or watered down “Mexican” food. Highly recommend!

Daddy daughter date, the staff saw us come in on a Thursday afternoon and immediately sat us down. Prompt service. The chips and salsa were quickly on the table, our orders were taken, and my server Dustin could not have been more prompt. Food came out quickly, great ingredients, hot and fresh. I would not hesitate to come back. This is a hard recommend!!!

I like ordering my food to-go as the wait for tables sometimes vary. However, this past time we ordered, we didn’t get a lot of fries. Last time, my burger tasted so burnt, it was inedible. I am not sure what has happened to the quality but this is why I have changed my review.
I ordered the hangry option and I expect at least more than 15 pieces of fries.
I get more fries at Hometown hamburgers than I do at Chile Pod. Won’t be coming here for awhile. Not worth the price anymore

It’s interesting that the green sauce is more spicy than red. I liked it. The waitress was fantastic and attentive. Good sized portions.
Fresh tortilla chips and the salsa were spicy. I got the spicy Mac and cheese it was not to my liking. Kinda dry, not enough of cheese, and didn’t like the spiciness. The Navajo taco was not what I was expecting but good overall.

Service was “eh” that’s just me being nice. Not to sure if the waitress was new. When drinks were ordered she told us “this place isn’t a bar and we had to order food with our drinks.” Such a bizarre response. Never had an issue like that in any food establishment in the area. We ordered food and well… It was so unappealing, everything was slopped together. The rice was still hard and beans were cold. I would not come back to this food establishment.
