Always great food and service. Everything we’ve had there is excellent. The owners are awesome people who come out and check on you to make sure you’re satisfied. Biscuit Bottoms, Breakfast Egg Rolls, Mimosa and Bourbon Flights and lots of other options. I highly recommend you giving a try if you’re in the Calabash area. You won’t be disappointed!

We had the pleasure of eating at TOASTED in Calabash, NC on New Years Eve… every dish was amazing…. my wife had the Short Rib Special and Loved it…. I had the “Shrimp & Grits, 8 Lightly Blackened Shrimp with Andouille Sausage, Peppers, Onions, and Chipotle Gouda and Havarti Cheese Grits.” This dish is packed with amazing flavor… 8 Huge Shrimp chared to perfection… then the rich creamy grits, sausage, peppers, onions and cheeses make a perfect ending. BTW, I could only finish half, took the rest home and finished tonight, still amazing the next day.

We overall enjoyed our visit. The drinks were on point and the highlight of the visit. The mimosa selection was amazing. The restaurant was understaffed and service was a bit slow but the waitstaff was super friendly for being as busy as they were. The food was OK. We tried the biscuit bottoms and they were good. Only complaint was the tater tots used as “home fries”. We would return to try some more mimosa varieties and try something different.

We went to Toasted for brunch to celebrate my birthday while family was visiting from Indiana, and WOW… what an experience!
Nick, the owner, took care of us and was AMAZING. He was so welcoming, incredibly accommodating, and kept us entertained with great stories. He walked us through their specialty foods and all the cocktails and mimosas — and of course we had to try the mimosa flights. Several of us ordered them and they were absolutely delicious!
The food was just as incredible — easily some of the best brunch we’ve ever had. We were a loud, laughing group, and not only did no one seem to mind, Nick even said he loved our vibe. A woman at another table told us she enjoyed listening to us having such a good time, which made the experience even more fun.
When we left, every single person said the same thing: that was the best breakfast/brunch experience they’ve ever had. I was so glad we chose Toasted to start my birthday celebrating off right — we’ll definitely be back!

Great service, decent coffee, good food. Wide ranging menu. It is actually a pretty big place – looks small and cozy and it is until you go in the back and it is more of a bar scene and every chair is full.

If you go by appearance you may not want to go into this restaurant but I assure you that you’d be missing out! Toasted is the definition of “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. Our server was one of the owners and he was both attentive and funny. We felt right at home. But then the food…..we ordered an Olive tamponade appetizer then the Bacon Egg roles and Apple butter biscuit bottom. This could have been the best food we’ve ever eaten. The Olive tamponade was so good we asked if he sold it to take home. Every bite of everything was amazing. My husband wants to move to Calabash now! We were so excited about the food that the top notch whiskey bar and drink menu were a second thought.

My wife and I are visiting from out of town and heard of Toasted. We wanted to give it a try as the food looked homey and just what we needed. Wow, were we in for a shock. We ended up ordering the Awaken bacon biscuit bottoms and my wife had the apple butter biscuit bottoms, wow, talk about down home southern!! We were blown away. The flavors and portion size were out of this world!! We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Nic. Not only did he make us feel at home but we felt like family before we left. After breakfast, his wife Cherie, made us up a flight of flavored mimosas. They were so delicious, my wife won’t stop talking about them. This will be our new staple every time we are in town. Thanks Toasted, Nic and the crew. Can’t wait to see you all again soon!

Such a great experience! Delicious food and awesome mimosa flight! I got the Pina colada mimosa, French strawberry and berry peachy and every one was delicious!! To eat I got the Jesus for cheeses sandwich with ham and turkey and it was so good! We called ahead to make a reservation since we had a large party (9) and only had to wait a few minutes to get a table. Great service!
