It was my first time eating at Toast Up yesterday. I had a great waitress, Ebony who was awesome. She gave me my own tour of the place and was just on point from the time I sat down to the time I left, constantly checking in on me and making sure I was good! Also the bartender, I don’t know what she put in that mimosa but I was lit! The food was well seasoned and hot!! Atmosphere was good!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when walking in but it was a good experience. The music was nice, food and server Vay were good. They don’t serve any pork products but had several other options. It did feel like it was still a new establishment , maybe working the kinks out. Will probably go back while I’m in town for work.

The wife got a mimosa. She enjoyed it and would take her girls for a bottomless adventure!!
I wanted to try something new and got the toasty dogs….it is a must! Creative way to eat sausage.
Wife got the shrimp n grits which was better in her eyes, flavored and seasoned well.
I got the Sunday waffle, a deep fried chicken breast on a cornmeal waffle with gravy over with a side of mac and mustard greens.
The greens were perfect, the chicken was fried to perfection as I didn’t even need a knife to cut it.
Overall worth the experience and will bring friends, family, and coworkers here in the future!!!

This was my first time trying Toast up and when I tell you the chicken and grits were the bomb. The grits are creamy and salt/pepper is not needed for the grits. The chicken was juicy and tender.
The shrimp and grits were seasoned well and juicy.
Must try because both were delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

This place is an absolute beauty!!! The atmosphere is amazing & cute for your instapics! My waitress Vay, hey girl!, was really nice & patient with me ordering. I wanted something did not see on the menu (French toast & chicken) But she informed me that you do have it! Recommended a sauce that was soooo good! Mmmm! The music was a nice chill lounge vibe! I def recommend you stop here for brunch! I wish I was there for pleasure. I’m a truck driver & I hope to go back soon

Instead, expect friendly staff, a great R&B centric playlist & delicious food. All wrapped up in an almost beach club like setting.
They have a mostly full bar but are unable to make bloody mary’s. The shrimp & grits are a must! They’re not pictured because we ate it quickly.
