A few years ago things weren’t great here. I know I wasn’t happy in the past. Have this place a chance again last October and it’s been my new favorite pizza place since. One of the top pizzas in Monroe and washtenaw imo. Super big, tasty, cheesy slices. If you like NY slices this is one of the best. With a coupon you get a gigantic pizza for under $30. Toarmina’s Pizza has become my go-to lunch spot over the past three months while I continue working full time to support my family. It’s always a highlight of my day to stop in. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even know me by name now, which shows how much they care about their customers. There are so many great options on the menu, including pizza, subs, salads, and more. This time, I chose the grilled chicken salad, and it was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. The ingredients were crisp, the chicken was seasoned well, and the portion size was just right.
What I also really enjoy is how simple and convenient the carryout process is. Whether I’m eating there during a break or grabbing something to go, it’s always smooth and efficient. Everything is tied into one easy experience, and I never feel like I’m waiting around. Toarmina’s continues to be a reliable spot for delicious food and exceptional service. Not your average party liquor store/ Pizza joint! If you need to quick slice of pie on your lunch break, or you need a few slices of pie for the ride home, they usually got four different styles to choose from by the slice and whatever you want to order by telephone or through the internet! Pizza’s outstanding. I’m a specialty Pizza kind of guy, So I usually roll with the chicken, bacon and ranch if it’s available by the slice. If not I always get the bacon and sausage and pepperoni. And for the price it’s a steal so I would recommend it to anybody looking for a good old slice of pie!

My kids got cheese pizza and cheese bread. They loved it! I decided to give the pickle pizza a try. See, the advertisement for this pickle pizza was on top of my dresser and had been there a couple weeks. I kept looking at it. I was like, gotta try this pickle pizza. Tonight was the night! I am so glad I did because it was SO GOOD! It had just the right amount of pickles too. Gosh I love pickles. It was SO GOOD!

The only issue I have with this place is that I am disabled and the handicap parking is always used by people without disabilities due to the handicap parking is only outlined in blue with no other signage. This doesn’t happen some of the time, it happens EVERY time. If police were there, they could pass out tickets like candy. My hope is that the Milan Police Department sees this and starts ticketing.

I ordered tonight and Denise took care of my order from start to finish. The service was outstanding , and the pizza was amazing! I will definitely be back! This gal deserves a raise ….she was working diligently cleaning , mopping and closing the place down while my pizza was cooking! Looks like she does it all!

I’m really picky about the quality of the food that we feed our family and torminas is the only local restaurant that is consistent and fresh. Plus the service is ALWAYS spot on. It helps that they also offer pizza by the slice which is so convenient on the go. This new ownership and staff made a significant difference.
