Went there for the first time on a Saturday night, which was yesterday at dinner time. They were completely slammed. But I will definitely tell you this. Their food was beyond amazing. Their margaritas were insane and the service beyond impeccable even though they were so busy. The staff is so friendly this very well may be our new Mexican spot. Highly recommend the food so delicious.

Tlaquepaque was such a great experience. We went for lunch on a double date and everything was honestly amazing. I got the steak fajitas and they were AMAZINGGG. I did remove the sour cream, tomatoes, and guac because I’m a little picky, but even without all that, the flavor was unreal.
The portions are HUGE. Like, you will not be leaving hungry at all. Also… they have the good ice. If you know, you know.
Our server was EXTREMELY attentive. No one’s glass was ever empty, and when we asked for extra napkins, they showed up immediately. No waiting, no reminding.
Between the food, the service, and the overall vibe, it was definitely a great experience. I’ll absolutely be back.

Sooo this place was SOOO BUSSING! I got the birra tacos with side of refried beans and rice and YALL! the sauce, the meats, the ingredients were so fresh and yummy. I can tell someone was in that kitchen making this food with such love. I ate the whole thing. Also love how they gave you chips with not just salsa but guacamole too. As an environmental science major I very much appreciated the sustainable packaging as well! The service was amazing, I ordered through chow and my driver was very nice and my order came sooo fast. I ordered at 12:45 it got here at 1:02 on the dot! I will definitely be ordering from here again or dining in sometime with my fiance! Pleaseee keep doing what you’re doing

Tlaquepaque in Brunswick is THE hidden gem of the area. I usually order from them on DoorDash and already knew the food was incredible — easily the best Mexican around — but finally getting a chance to dine in was a wonderful experience.
From the outside it looks like a little hole-in-the-wall, but the moment you walk in, the atmosphere hits you. The place is genuinely beautiful, full of color and artistic detail that makes it feel special. Already planning our next visit!

I know this is a “Mexican” restaurant. However, they have what looks like a steak specialty menu. I ordered a “medium RARE” ribeye. The waiter repeated back “medium well”, and I reaffirmed “medium rare”. There is a night and day difference between the two. The waiter also had no clue that the steaks come with side options even after I showed him the actual menu. When the runner brought the food out the waiter took my plate from him and returned to the kitchen with it without explanation. Maybe to ensure that it was sufficiently burnt?
This was one of the worst Mexican/steak dinners I have had in a long time.

The one in Galax VA is my favorite in that area and after trying the one in Brunswick, it too has become my favorite in that area. I enjoyed it much more than any of the competition within the Seville to Fairlawn radius. I will definitely be a regular when I’m local.

This place is fantastic! I went there today, and the staff were so friendly; the atmosphere is also incredible with all the murals and such. My friend and I both got the birria tacos, and we both loved them! They were so incredibly flavorful and filling, perfectly seasoned! The salsa was also incredible and had just the right amount of cilantro! Our server was very nice and attentive, and our food came out very quickly! The best birria I have had ever, it’s definitely what you have to get if you come here.

This was my first time here to this location. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The drinks were very good. I would have liked to have made my own choice for the margarita flight, but it was still very good. We also had a muddled blackberry margarita which was very fresh and also very enjoyable. Our food was so seasoned and absolutely amazing. It came out so quick. My only Takeaway is I had ordered some queso for my appetizer and the waiter did not place that order or put it in and I was not charged for it, but I would have liked to have had queso for my appetizer. I would also love if they would add elote or esquite to their appetizer menu that would be great, but we will definitely be back to this establishment and location to enjoy another taco Tuesday

The place had a very nice atmosphere. The food was generally cooked very well. I have no complaints at all. It’s very different than most Mexican restaurants. I can’t wait to drive back here. Add it last night on Valentine’s Day. Excellent service street tacos is the way to go for sure I can’t wait to try the fajitas.
