We stopped at Tizley’s Europe Pub because it was one of the first places open at 10 a.m. in Poulsbo, and we’re so glad we did. One person in our group is on a mission to try unique beers, and this place had two that fit the bill—mission accomplished.

I ordered the sautéed garlic mushrooms, which were absolutely delicious. I forgot to take a picture because they were so good and disappeared fast. I also had an Irish coffee and the potato soup. The soup came out a bit cold at first, but our server was quick to take care of it and had it heated right back up.

We also shared the pretzel, which was fantastic, especially with the different mustard and beer cheese sauce. The pub itself is beautifully decorated with vintage European décor, giving it a cozy, old-world feel.

We visited on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which may be why some nearby shops were closed, and we also noticed many places in town close on Mondays. We’re glad we arrived when we did because shortly after, the pub got packed. The staff was super friendly and handled the rush well, and it was great to see extra help come in once things got busy.

Overall, a great stop for good food, unique beers, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Yummy place for sausages, Bavarian pretzel, and clam chowder! I really enjoyed the clam chowder. The big pretzel is huge, getting the half one would have been more than enough. Cozy interior and decorating, its located on the second floor. Definitely worth a visit if youre in town!

I wonder how this place has 4.5 rating. We don’t have the habit of returning of food so we did nt. The food is very disappointing taste wise. Very bland. There is not even salt. We are excited to try European food but did nt expect it would be this disappointing. The white sauce looked like ranch/sour cream is so weird. Wasabi in white color I would say. I don’t know if European food is supposed to be like this or it’s just band here. Utter waste of Money. Reasonbale quantity for the price but tizley should concentrate on quality over quantity. Even if you are hungry you won’t feel like eating it. We ordered family platter for 2 Waiter told it’s too much for 2 but we thought we could take Togo for the next day expecting taste would be better but totally disappointing.

Yummy food and huge serving. The pretzel is so yummy. Soft and warm. The size is bigger than my face. It also serve with dips and cheese, very nice indeed. Schnitzel is using pork cutlet. It is very good not dry. Sauce is really good. And also huge in size. Mixed sausage plate had 3 kinds of sausages. All of them are moist inside and very tasty. Plenty of tables indoor and balcony seating outdoor. The whole street are very unique and pretty. Street view on balcony is fantastic. Plenty of parking nearby. Card payment available.

Loved, this place! The Schnitzel sandwich was, all that I could have imagined and just what I needed at the time. Wow! So good. Thank you for the great lunch. I just now, being back home, googled “Where to find the best schnitzel sandwich in Seattle?” And one of the places, at top was Tizley’s EuroPub…and I do agree!

Food is a favorite of ours. The pretzel is the best in town! The portions are all great for the price, and we’ve never been disappointed by any dish. The service is a bit slow but as long as you aren’t in a rush, it’s fine – the staff works hard and sometimes there just aren’t enough folks

Sort of rough around the edges with a great view of downtown Poulsbo. I was not prepared for how amazing the food was going to be. Probably the best Rueban I have ever eaten. It was the best sauerkraut I have ever had. I usually don’t like sauerkraut but this was light and not tangy or acidic. The potato salad didn’t look great, but it was so good. It was not made of hard potatoes and too much mayo but slightly cooked (and soft) potatoes and a light sauce. I tried St Bernardus Belgium Ale and it was divine. I want to go back and order that two-day menu item: Schweinshaxe mit kraut. I’m sure it will be fantastic. The only downside of the restaurant is it only holds 24 people so get there early.

I love this place. The food was good, service was great. A little German pub with a decent menu. The ambience was great, the service was top notch. Ordering the Pretzel Appetizer is a must. It’s been many years since I have had a authentic German Pretzel with mustard and Beer cheese. And their clam chowder rivals anything Seattle has to offer. We had the Schnitzel Sandwich and their Version of a Reuben. The schnitzel Sammy was huuuuge and delicious. The Reuben…..it was good but my only complaint was the amount of meat on it. It was Beef, top quality. But Reubens should be 60% meat and 40% sandwich. But it was delicious. Will be returning to try some new items.
