Review only for the BBQ as that’s all I’ve tried. Pricing is ultra fair and I can’t get over how delicious the beef and lamb skewers are. They also do Korean short ribs at $4.50 a piece that are also excellent. The owners are an older Asian couple and there might be some slight language barrier but the service is ultra friendly, the food is good, and they’re open late. Love it.

Lamb and lamb chop skewers are the highlight of this place, the best I’ve tied in the Bay Area. Oysters were surprisingly super fresh and so were the veggies.the owners were very nice and kind so our language barrier wasn’t a problem at all.

Didn’t know cold noodle soup is COLD. Thought it was just the name…it’s the actual temperature of the food. I let the waiter know and he said “that’s how it comes” and didn’t heat it up. Almost choked on the cold noodles and broth was cold. Don’t recommend!! Paid $80 for cold food.

I was excited to taste some northern Chinese bbq and walked in to a large party having a great meal. I am thinking this is a good sign. We ordered some skewers and beer thinking it will be a quick meal… So… the large table seems to be the owner’s guest and staff? probably the kitchen too? when i asked about where is my beer? the guy looks like the staff at that table just said, oh get the beer yourself from the fridge! hum… ok.. then we waited about 1 1/2 hour and and they served us One skewer while watching the people at the ‘boss’s’ table eating and laughing… i end up cancelling all skewers and left extremely upset and hungry. The old man ‘the boss’ didn’t seem to care

I threw up this house. The service was slow. When I came in, I asked them for a cup of hot water. It took me 10 minutes to bring it up. At that time, there were not many people at all, and we just had the third table. Their snail powder was just amazing It tastes the same as the packaging bag. Take me two bowls. 29

worse restaurant I’ve experienced in years, ordered two ramens that’s way over priced, tasted worse than I can make them myself at home, the appetizer came at the end of our meal, we thought they forgot about it and we weren’t gonna say anything but it took more than half hour and they hand it to us, also tasted bad. just bad, avoid this place at all cost

Food was tasty and well seasoned. Price is pretty good for a skewers place, but make sure to set aside 2 hours to dine here because the service is very slow.
I ate here on a Saturday night at 6:30PM and there were only 3-5 other tables filled, the restaurant at less than 50% capacity. We ordered within 5-10 minutes of arriving, yet it still took 2+ hours for us to finish eating and paying. Maybe there is a bottleneck in the kitchen or the restaurant is understaffed, but that is way too long for a meal when the restaurant isn’t anywhere near packed.
It took forever to get the check because the itemized bill is painstakingly hand-calculated and written in Chinese. Good luck figuring out if the charges are correct if you can’t read Chinese handwriting.

The food is cheap and delicious, I haven’t had food with a kick that is also sweet before. I’ve been here quite a few times and each time the food is brought out quickly and hot! The only issue I had was we had to keep getting up for more food and water instead of being waited on like usual even though we were the only customers. I will still keep going however, as the food is just too good 🙂

Very bad experience, very disappointed, it took so long and you must wait again and again for each order. There were only four tables waiting and we were the first one arrive. The other three all left before their orders come because they cannot bear the long time waiting. We waited for almost one hour only got 3 lambs, another half hour for 2 shrimps, almost 2 hours for veggies. Why is the restaurant do business like that? We felt so upset especially after we drove 8 hours to try the first restaurant in San Francisco, never come back again
