We jokingly say Tippys has the best mediocre tacos, but legit we eat here multiple times a month and absolutely love it!
My husband is from the area and the owners literally watched him and his friends grow up, and every time we come in he asks us about our family and how we’re doing – it’s just so wonderful! Very rare to have such connections these days and that’s part of the charm!
The kitchen is immaculate too! I was a restaurant manager and have seen some things but you can clearly see that they are well above standards!
You truly cannot beat the service, the price is spot on, and it’s just a neighborhood staple. In a world of curbside and delivery, Tippys is just this nice place where you can see a friend and eat good food.

I love Tippy’s. The California burrito is always delicious. I wish there was a location closer to me, but it is always a treat to go. The guy (I wish I knew his name) who runs/owns this location is so nice, polite and gracious. The food is always consistent and the place is very clean.

Did the 2 lunch specials plus a con queso and chips. The tacos were stuffed full lettuce and tomatoes fresh and neatly prepared. The chips and conqueso along with the hot sauce probably can not be rivaled. Bathroom clean along with the dining area. A win all the way around.

Ordered the beef Acapulco Dinner 2 tacos came with beef and the 3rd with beans. I can’t eat beans and don’t understand why one of them was full of it when I specifically ordered beef. Otherwise pretty good food just disappointed about that last taco.

Tippys taco house has great service and the wait time from order to receiving your food is low. The tacos however are very low quality, you have to know what you’re getting yourself into. If you’re starving and want something cheap and quick this is the spot! I got chicken tacos and the chicken was definitely pre cooked and frozen then thawed and put in the tacos. If you don’t mind that then there isn’t any issues here.

I love Tippy’s – just good ol’ regular tacos like I had as a kid. Not fancy, not even authentically Mexican, but just right. You want simple crunchy beef tacos with lettuce, tomatoes, meat, and cheese for a cheap price? Go to Tippy’s. The owner is friendly and will serve you quickly. Tippy’s! Yay!

I was charged $15 for four chicken tacos!! They were flavorless, and when I asked if I could get a quesadilla instead, the man behind the counter said, “it’s the chicken. Chicken is all the same!” No flavor, the place is dirty, and the service is friendlier at McDonald’s!
