For a dive bar, this place rocks. We have been here several times, but this time we saw Duke Tumatoe in concert and he is fabulous! He was very popular in the late 70’s and early 80’s. He is 78 now and can still rock! This bar has great entertainment, but there are tickets involved. Some patrons left without paying the ticket price of $15, which we thought was a bargain! Our waitress was either high or simply inept. The food was good with one cook in the kitchen for over 100 patrons in attendance. We did have to ask the older blonde waitress for help since her younger brunette co-worker was terribly confused. People had come from as far as Chicago for this concert and the music did not disappoint.

Update: after many communication with the bar and ourselves we have all come to a mutual understanding and will no longer have any issues going forward.
This is not a description of the actual location this is a review based on the owner of the location. The owner of the bar has decided to block my entryway into my rental property of his partner make it so I cannot get in or out of my property states it is not his problem but mine been living here for almost 2 years and this here is the first time this has happened second time this year the first time he put skid palettes that weigh about 100 lb each he put about four of them against the line where I could not get in. The bar owner refuses to work with me and talks disrespectfully and hostile towards myself and my family. I have a small child and my husband is disabled and has made it very difficult for us now to be able to get in and out of our property. You all need to be aware of the bar owners character his character is absolutely horrible refusing to talk to us refusing to discuss his situations with his partner our landlord and so I’m resulting to this.

Surf Zombies had a blast playing here with the Moonrays. Excellent, timeless venue with choice live music. Great staff and bar and we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We started with fried mushrooms and crinkle cut fries and were very happy.

This is usually a decent place but my experience today was sour and I will not return. The MC came up to me and only me and wanted me to get out of line and leave. Again, he only did this to me. I was in line to buy merchandise and was just standing in line doing nothing else. Honestly, I am incredibly confused by his behavior.
