Enjoyed dinner with family and friends last night. Our waitress, Joseline greeted us with a welcoming smile. She was professional, prompt and attentive. We enjoyed the Paloma Grande, Burr El Gordo, Taco La Calle, Chips & Salsa and Margaritis. The food was delicious! Nice calm vibe and friendly staff all around. Highly recommend Tio’s Tacos & Tequilla.

So, we started with chips and tomatillo salsa. I had chimichangas and birria tacos, and I can’t remember what my wife had, but it was a different taco. The service was good, and the place was nice, even though it was a bit chilly outside. The food was great! If you’re craving Mexican food, this is the place to go.

Caught up with a friend over margaritas and flavorful bowls at Tio’s Tacos & Tequila and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious, the service was prompt, and the vibe was just right for a laid-back evening. A great spot to reconnect and enjoy good eats in good company.

Staff is always so friendly and full of smiles! We have been a handful of times for lunch! Chori dip is amazing. They have the best chorizo around! Chori Pollo is really good! I don’t eat shrimp but I was told it’s amazing for a Mexican restaurant. You have to pay for chips, but they are only 2 bucks.

Ok, so here is my take on this restaurant. They will last if they up their game. This place needs that special touch that makes all successful businesses standout from the other’s. It’s popular now, it’s new. My first impression was the chips and salsa. You pay $2 for chips that are not fresh or hot. no flavor. Salsa was good. The small basket of chips was barely enough for 2 people. The chips basket is not refilled. If you want salsa for your meal, it would be advisable to buy the chips and salsa option so you will have salsa to put on your food if desired. Salt, pepper, or salsa is not accessible on the tables. I ordered the mango chicken tacos. It’s flavorful, but…. the flavor is in the sauce and not the meat. The chicken was extremely tasteless and dry. The flavor of the sauce was not marinated into the chicken. The mango sauce needs substance, something fresh, fruity… like mangos. Or pineapple. Something that makes you want to say “yumm.”. Once the sauce was all soaked into the small flour tortilla, I was left with dry, tasteless chicken. The chicken in the tacos was not freshly cooked. It is obvious that being so dry and tasteless, it sits waiting for a sauce to be poured on it. The sauce was not marinated into the chicken. The chicken was tasteless. There is no hint of any spices in the chicken itself. The piece of cheese that was put on top of the dry chicken was a letdown. The amount of chicken compared to the cheese spear was not created with thought. It is impossible to divide the very small piece of chunk (spear) white cheese so you can get a bite of cheese with a bite of chicken. What’s left is soggy flour tortilla and dry chicken. The 2″ piece of corn on the cob was absolutely delicious. The topping they rolled it in was mouth watering. Woke my taste buds right up….. for about 2 seconds. That’s all the time it took to sample the 4 bites served as the “side dish. I felt cheated. Where most mexican food restaurants offer a serving of rice and beans, the corn on the cob would have been a welcome option if the serving size was acceptable
This is my second time eating here, I like the staff, atmosphere, and the flavors. I am writing this review in the hope that this restaurant will use their imagination and taste buds to improve. My recommendations on the food I ordered…. mango chicken tacos – give it that special touch by serving it with fresh mango salsa, with fresh ingredients and mangoes in it. The chicken – I would have enjoyed chicken that was freshly cooked, not dry. The cheese should have been finely shredded, and not like it was an afterthought by cutting a very small wedge on a large serving of chicken. Just my opinion,
The chocolate lava cake was delicious, and so was the large serving of flan. Honestly, I will return because the staff are the most friendly, caring, polite workers I have had the pleasure of meeting in a very long time.

Great little location close to SAFB. Food is pretty great. Salsa is pretty mediocre but the quality of everything else is great.
The only complaint I had was that there are a good number of Knats and Flies lingering around and you had to smack them to keep them off your food.

Waiter was friendly but upsold our check without telling us. We ordered 2 beers and he brought us huge draft beers then lied saying that was the smallest option. $22.00. Of beer total! It was 1:pm so of course we only wanted one beer.
Then he didn’t tell us that the kids meal only came with applesauce and juice for 5.99. So of course we added fries ($5.50) and soda (3.00) which made my kids chicken nugget meal $14.40!! Good job waiter upselling and not telling… but you lost a customer forever. We will not be back.
We spent $20 more than we do at any other Mexican restaurant because of it. Terrible.

My family has gone a handful of time now, and they haven’t let us down yet. Service is outstanding. El Jefe with tajin is my new favorite margarita. And I’ve loved everything I’ve tried so far. Chipotle burrito, pollo picoso, and tacos de chochinita pictured.

Everything was amazing, the food was great and filled me up. The margaritas are to die for. Try them and they will speak for themselves. The service was 10/10, if you go here and if u can choose who to go to, go to the server named chuy. He gives you amazing service, he’s very nice and friendly and does what needs to be done. Overall all staff is great, so is the atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place to go with friends, this is the place.
