Great find! Nice local mom and pops style cantina. The food was delicious and plated beautifully. Everything was fresh, including the margarita made from fresh squeezed lime juice. I didn’t see that there was a bar to sit at if you’re that type of person. However, the food and drink made up for that. They only offer 1 size margarita, but the price makes ordering 2 a non factor. If you are in Patterson definitely and want some quality Mexican food, give this place a try.

I can see now why Tio’s doesn’t get very busy. While the portions were large, service and food were good, it’s quite rundown and small. The fact that they charge you a cost for chips and salsa and to go boxes (like who does this) are frankly the reasons I won’t go back.

the best local Mexican restaurant. The food is so authentic and they offer beef tongue ( don’t knock it until ya try it!) family owned and very cute. This burrito can feed like three people it is HUGE! and good pricing for the quality and amount of food you get too. So glad decided to try this place will be coming back for sure.

Not all Mexican restaurants have that unique flavor. This Mexican restaurant/bar has free (limited) parking and is not fully accessible (just the restroom) with bilingual staff. The food was very bland and extremely salty. For example, Mole should have a sweet and tangy taste with a hint of spice it didn’t have either. The salsas dip not made fresh, you can tell by the taste, but most places aren’t either. I believe the only thing delightful was the Horchata (Agua fresca) and the desserts Churros & Flan. As well as a variety of Mexican sodas. Overall, it’s not the best, but i’m willing to go back and try it once more. I will keep you updated.

Called ahead for two orders of fish tacos, and order was ready in 15 mins. OMG, crispy fish, tangy/flavorful fresh creamy salsa topped with crunchy shoestring fries, WOW, they were delicious!! Loved every bite!

Route 22’s hidden gem! I know the feeling. Been on Route 22 lately, heading home after weekend upstate, and thy belly suddenly goes feed me, but your brain takes over and says nope nothing is around that’s any good, I’ll just wait til I get home and eat real food cause let’s face it…..comparatively speaking, there isn’t too much on Route 22. Well behold Tios! Great service, family run, tasty with healthy options, and fast for those that unfortunately have to eat and run. My favorite is their house salad with salmon and omg their carrot cake! Also they are generous with the portions, and kindly made adjustments for me (I’m salt sensitive), let them know if you are too.

My daughter and I come here when we go skiing and it’s my daughter’s favorite restaurant. They have a crab ceviche special with mango and honeydew sauce and let me tell you.. it’s out of this world!! It’s a fab place and the people are so nice!
