I’ll start with the worst part, my food definitely sat under a heat lamp for a few minutes. But at least it came out scalding and was absolutely banging. Not a complaint and maybe all food should be served with a blast under a broiler. Best part is chips and salsa, top 5 ever. I’m still eating them even after dinner. I’m very full. Still shoveling as much salsa as I can into my mouth. It’s a sight. Margs fall in the middle. Mix, sort of weak, and a little koolaid tasting but perfectly passable for the venue. Happy to crush two (update: 3) with my lunch. Service was efficient and frequent. I’d call it pro. The vibe is killer. Love the style.
Not only will I stop by again if I’m ever in the area but I may have to make up a reason because it was that good and I’d like to try more items from the menu.

Was out driving around feeling out the area to see if we want to move down there. Got pretty hungry so we stopped by this spot not thinking much of it but man 100/10 this absolutely hit the spot. Food was great, service was top of the line, and the atmosphere makes it feel so welcoming. Even if we dont move there, we WILL be going back regardless of how far it is

It’s a pretty good place to eat. Prices are reasonable and worth visiting repeatedly if you are in the area. For a typical Mexican place it does the job well. I enjoyed my meal!

My first menudo of the year and it did not disappoint. Lots of meat, flavor and hominy. The accouterments were light – I ordered a large menudo and it only came with 1 lemon wedge and a small container of onions/jalapeños mixed, which I could use more, and NO cilantro at all. The horchata was soooo good. It only comes in one size and I’ve had larger and cheaper elsewhere that was just as good. For both items, it was ~$20. Apparently there was an error and they said they didn’t charge me for the menudo when I doubled-back to get the horchata, so she said she added them together on one receipt so I wouldn’t be charged 2 separate transaction fees, which I appreciate. That said, they do charge extra when you use your credit card and they don’t accept debit transactions at all, so I reported them to Visa for that and that’s nothing personal, but as a Visa card holder, I was told that is not supposed to be the case.

It was our first time trying Tio Tony’s out, and we will definitely be going back. The food was absolutely amazing, great atmosphere our waiter Jose did a phenomenal job he was very knowledgeable of the menu… so now we have been there a few times now and we haven’t been disappointed yet the food is always delicious. Just ate breakfast there for the first time, and it was delicious

We were greeted and seated promptly during the lunch rush. It seemed busy, but we got our food promptly. The salsa and chips were tasty. The bean and cheese nachos were good, but didn’t have as many beans as cheese. I liked the chicken enchiladas and the salsa verde on the cheese enchilada. However, I didn’t like the meat flavor of the beef enchilada. The rice was soft and had a great flavor. The refried beans were also good. I would recommend this place.

2nd visit…We came in on a Friday evening in January. Was seated right away, ordered within minutes, and our food was hot and delicious. I got the carnitas skillet and my wife got the chicken fajita plate. Great food, service, and atmosphere.
