It all began with 3 siblings who had a tiny dream… The Abramcyk trio: Ana, Matt & Jack set out to create a family run, neighborhood spot where anyone & everyone could come eat, drink or just talk over a glass of wine & leave happier than when they entered. Thus… Tiny’s & the Bar Upstairs was born. Let’s go back to the 1800s… the origination of the townhouse. Fast forward to today… the townhouse; now pink & located in the heart of Tribeca is known both nationally & internationally as a NYC gem. Ana, Matt & Jack complement the warm-hearted & artistic spirit of Tiny’s. The sibling dynamic & creativity was the catalyst behind the magic of what Tiny’s represents today: The Pink Townhouse with great food & good times.
Historical 1810 bi-level townhouse showcases New American fare in a dimly lit, rustic setting.

The cool design of this historic 1810 townhouse is truly fascinating. The setting itself is the star, creating a distinctly warm and romantic vibe with its rustic Americana styling. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, making it an ideal spot to spend an evening. The aesthetic, from the weathered brick and framed ‘little things’ to the ‘dirty’ pink wallpaper, contributes to a highly visual and charming environment.
We were there only for drinks, and the bar experience was unparalleled. The barman was absolutely fabulous, providing exceptional service that felt personalized and attentive. I ordered a cocktail (don’t remember the name as I was there some time ago and forgot to write the name of the drink in my notes 😉 ), that was pure perfection, a truly standout drink.
If you’re looking for an atmospheric, cute and cocktail spot, Tiny’s & The Bar Upstairs is highly recommended
On a more positive note, my friend really enjoyed the chicken risotto, and I was pleasantly surprised by the burger (cooked medium-rare) with truffle fries that complemented it well. That said, at $32, I’m not sure I would order it again. Service was also uneven where one server felt rushed when placing our meals and clearing plates, making the process feel a bit abrupt. We’d be open to returning to see if the experience improves.
Can’t miss items are their burger (served with caramelized onions, mushrooms, and cheddar!), their tater tots (BEST I’ve ever had- super crispy, slightly bouncy and reminiscent of Pão de queijo), and the butter pecan cheesecake (tasted like a butterscotch dum dum in the best way!!).
The vibes here are charming and cozy too; would make the perfect date night spot!
We visited Tiny’s and the Bar Upstairs on a Wednesday evening, and it was a lovely spot. The outdoor space was inviting, perfect for people-watching, and the upstairs area was warm and cozy, ideal for winter. We didn’t have a reservation, but our hostess was kind enough to find us a seat. The service was a bit spotty, likely due to the crowd, but our experience was still enjoyable. We ordered the orange wine, which was delicious, and some appetizers – citrus ceviche, Tony’s tater tots, and burrata with peach. Everything was fresh and well-made. And for dessert, we got the Kit Kat chocolate cake( forget the name!) , which my friend with the sweet tooth thoroughly appreciated. It’s a great spot for a date night or a group of four. We’ll likely be back for the drinks, food, and ambiance, but might try to avoid peak hours.
Service was polite but clearly overwhelmed. We waited longer than expected between courses and had to flag someone down for the check. I think this place shines more earlier in the evening or on less crowded nights.
The vibes are great – it’s such a cute rustic space and really gave our out of towners a classic oldschool NYC feel. Plus – they have matchbooks, which I collect.
They have their own cocktails, but they will also make you any cocktail that you want, provided they have the materials. I had their mushroom whiskey cocktail and it was fab. I’m an old-fashioned girlie, and this gave the same vibes.
To start, we split a dozen oysters and a grilled peach burrata. Loved both and everyone was able to have some.
For mains, I had the risotto and others in my party had the pasta, steak, and the mussels appetizer. The mussels appetizer is huge and honestly, more than enough as an entree. The risotto was also very filling and very good. We split some grilled asparagus and roasted potatoes as sides, which were all great.
For dessert, a coworker and I split their matcha martini and the lava cake. Both were fantastic – and I would gladly drink that matcha martini again any day.
Service was great and we were very well taken care of. We were there for about 3.5 hours and were never rushed out.
