Orderd shrimp fried rice with chicken wings. The food was tasteless and as you can see in the picture only 5 shrimp in the rice. The chicken was very big and smelled funny. I couldn’t eat it. Will not order again from this place, waste of my money.

I ordered 3 combos for pick up. One never arrived the other, one was ok, and the other fried chicken arrived stale and refried about 3 times. There was no way to chew the chicken to try and enjoy it. Inefficiency at its best.

Prices are through the roof. They rush you off the phone and pretend they’re listening, and they don’t listen to a damn thing and are unapologetic. When you get the wrong order.Customer service is absolutely horrible. Is quality of food has gone way down hill. When you call to let them know that they made a mistake. They act like they don’t care and they try to fight you. They must be preparing for closing soon.

The food is normally cooked fresh… yet, not half as fresh as their employees who act arrogant and uncaring in regards to customer service. Employees refuse to listen on the phone and when they get the order wrong (which is most of the time) they will fight you (argue with you) rather than correct the order.

This one time they tried to blame it on an 80 year old woman who donates her time energy and resources to make sure our clients are fed. She could not do it alone this time because she had COVID. I recommended her to call Tins but I figured they would have a difficult time understanding each other … so I called to clarify. The man on the phone did not want to listen to a word I said and kept saying, “I know, I know, I know…” talking over anything that I was trying to explain to him. I told him more than 3 times that the order was for 5pm …. he kept saying ” yeah, yeah, yeah” .

Approximately 15 minutes after the order was placed…it was at the door, 3:29pm. When I realized that there were only 6 egg rolls instead of 7 and that neither of the chicken orders were hot and spicy, I decided to call and let them know. I was trying to repair how we communicate so that they would consider doing business with the nearest Chinese Food restaurant. Instead of anyone even trying to listen… they kept trying to talk over me and lie. They even had the owner call me who threatened to call the police because I was going back to the business to explain what the issue was. THEY DO NOT CARE WHAT THE ISSUE IS.

If this was the only time, I would have let it go. But there were many times where they refuse to listen and just send out anything they feel. Now that I know they truly care what the customer wants. I will choose to use other places like Wang Wang in Maywood. higher quality food, lower prices, and employees are always friendly… not to mention far cleaner than Tins.

The should be ashamed of themselves when they speak to a customer of over 16 years in the manner that they do and then try to turn it on us for ‘speaking rudely’ to their employees.

I don’t think it was rude placing a $10. tip with the driver… who by the way is a sweetheart. That was the only thing that the man taking the order seemed to understand and had no problem with understanding …. the generous tip which was added. I know it wasn’t the driver’s fault for bringing it at 3:30. It was the rude person on the phone who refused to listen to request of bringing it at 5PM.

I will work hard to let all of my friends, colleagues and associates in the Paramus area understand how arrogant and disregarding their services are. I would never again order from this place. If they don’t already spit in the food… what’s to say they won’t the next time?

SORRY to any volunteers who have ever tried to do the correct things by ordering us Chinese food at Tins.

Ordered from this place tonight and they messed up everything in my order. On the phone they are not paying attention, and even in person they aren’t either. When I came to pick up my food I had to ask the guy four times for a plate because he was busy playing with his phone. Never ordering from here again.

I went here for lunch and got the garlic shrimp special and it was very tasty. It didn’t have the most shrimp but a TON of veggies including 2 types of mushrooms that were cooked perfectly. It tasted very fresh and the rice was great leftover too.

Cashier was nice and food was mediocre. Thing is that it took 10 mins for a sweet and sour chicken w/ pork fried rice to be prepared for a dine in. Not to mention it was really hot in there today.

UPDATE: 10/5/18. Got a stomach ache after eating their lunch special sweet and sour chicken yesterday. Not good.

Horrible experience! They are rude, and if you have food allergies do not go here!!!!! Mushrooms in their food and they don’t tell you about it. The Soup is gummy and not home made. Dumplings are all noodle noodle noodle and hardly any meat at all!!! It’s truly is disgusting under this new management. I rate this place less than 1 Star! Keep away from here, it is unethical and not reputable!!!!!!

Very good food. Was a little weird ordering through the door but well worth it. Serving sizes were huge price about adequate and very well cooked. Will def be frequenting tins house more often.
