My husband and I finally got an opportunity to try the angry pig and it did not disappoint. We unfortunately got there later on a Saturday evening and they were out of certain items which is completely understandable, but was told that as soon as we walked in… but we tried the pork plate, so good, the sauce complimented the whole dish very well. We also ordered there homemade Jalepeno sausage, not over cooked, very good in flavor. We also got chicken wings which they split our flavors for us, and this were crispy, good smoke flavor and tender! We also got to chat with the owner which was wonderful! Can’t wait to go back!! Very good job Josh!!

We went there for lunch today and we had smoked turkey sandwich with mac and cheese, & brisket poutine. We were also asked if we would like to try their meatloaf. WOW!!
Everything was absolutely delicious. It’s our third time there and we will keep going back again and again and again.

Gr8 barbecue, good portions, priced right and a come as you are atmosphere. Service is friendly and food delivered quickly. A must stop if you are nearby.

Awesome spot. 1/2 rack of ribs was fall off the bone, tender and tasty. Coleslaw was thick and proper, not soup. Potato salad was potato salad, not much there, but average. It’s potato salad so what can you expect.
$10 wing Wednesday is legit. Thick, proper wings. I got the spicy peach and it was loaded up with sauce. The sauce itself had a nice kick but wasn’t too spicy, and the peach was as a nice sweetness.
Place itself was a typical country BBQ joint. Pretty minimal, but very clean. No dinosaur BBQ yuppie nonsense here. A nice big counter with a wall of beer to boot. Plus they got Utica club
Overall I’d highly recommend, even if you’re skeptical, go at least once.

The folks at Angry Pig BBQ put together lunches for us at the Gingersnap Bakery around the corner on their off hours!
I got a Brisket sandwich and a side of Mac and cheese, both were so good! The Mac and cheese is so creamy and the brisket flavor was on point. I didn’t love the barbeque sauce, but that’s just my personal preference

Highly recommend! We had ribs, turkey, wings, pulled pork and chopped brisket with baked beans, Mac and cheese, Cole slaw and brussel sprouts. There was not a single thing on our plates that we didn’t love. Friendly service with delicious food. Forgot to take a picture before we starting eating.

Everyone loved their food! Pulled pork quesadilla was huge and sooooo delicious. Mixed the sour cream with bbq sauce for diping sauce…sooo good. Hubby had the pulled pork macncheese and he ate every bite! Mac was creamy and had a delicious white sauce that held up for reheat the next day. Love that. My daughter and son-in-law shared the 2 meat platter and also got the kids macncheese with Mac for a side and they loved everybite! Owner was there and very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this joint!! Prices are great.

Gave this place a try tonight for date night. I try to be optimistic when newer bbq places since we simply don’t have good BBQ in NY.
Anyways, this place was amazing. Tried the brisket mac burger. The brisket was nice and smokey, with a touch of sweetness. Had good crisp with a little bark. The burger itself was flavorful.
Cornbread is always a necessity with bbq and that was bangin’
Man at the counter was super friendly.
200% will be back soon.

We’ve been meaning to try this place for months because those we know who have tried it raved & we live just around the corner, so here’s our honest review:
We got a 2 meat / 2 side platter to share & paid about $35.00. The portions were very small & both my husband and I left hungry.
So considering we’d need two platters next time….$70 is expensive even for GREAT bar b que.
For the two meats we got sliced brisket (which they recomended) and wings.
For the Brisket, you get 3 very small slices. You end up actually getting maybe one whole slice by the time you trim all the fat away. They give you 5 wings…these were actually much better than the mediocre sliced brisket. They smoke then fry but again, expensive for the serving size.
The cornbread was GREAT, the mac & cheese nothing to write home about.
Overall they had great customer service & a welcoming atmosphere but food is pretty pricey for the quality & size of the servings.

Nice seating area, clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and courteous. The food sets this place apart. Two weeks ago, i brought home a family meal; sliced brisket ,ribs, baked beans ,cole slaw and cheese macaroni. The sides were above and beyond my high-expectations. Every bite of each entree was complete with WOW-factor. Absolute Full-TILT Flavor!! I have never seen such an amazing “ring” before. There is NO liquid smoke here, it’s 100% authentic and genuine……you know, the moment you bite into it. Pit Master is an absolute ACE. If you like BBQ, then, you must arrive at The Angry Pig BBQ.
