No frills place for Mexican food! They seem to specialize in Oaxacan cuisine so I got me a Tlayuda. The steak was sooo tender and the portion was larger than I expected. I got my husband a burrito and while I don’t have a pic, they definitely didn’t skimp. Will be coming back!

A beautiful family business with amazing food! I’ve been here a handful of times and plan to come so many more. You can never and I mean never go wrong with getting their nachos. The portions are amazing and huuuge with good flavor and presentation. I drive about 35 minutes from my town and it’s worth it every time.

4’s all around. Great tacos and quakity ingredients. I really enjoy the Al Pastor and puerco. The red sauce is generally very smokey and chipotleesque. They offer a decent amout of gringo options for the basic people but thats not why you visit. Go for the tacos and try the flautas and enchiladas as well. You wont be disappointed

Here is the final review of Tino’s. I say final, because I’ve been here before for breakfast. Which was dry and gross. But I thought, before I give a good review, I should try the ‘authentic’ Mexican cuisine.
The breakfast sandwich was dry and way over done. That being said, there was an announcement on Facebook that it was taco Tuesday. So off I went. It was more like tapas Tuesday. Tacos were so small. I ordered the nachos to try and 2 tacos. My husband ordered 3 tacos. The nachos were cold and limp. Not crunchy at all. I’ve been to Mexico more times than I care to mention. THIS WAS NOT AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD! I can’t stress that enough. I could have made those nachos in my microwave . I was so disappointed because I wanted so much to find a new restaurant to add to our portfolio of favorites.
The tacos were dry and only had a lot of cilantro and onion. They smelled heavily of vinegar and had a strange taste. Still can’t get that taste out of my mouth!! The salsa! Yuck! I don’t know what that red sauce was!
I will NOT be going back here and recommend you don’t even try this place. For me to say that…it’s bad.
I gave it 1 star because the waitress was good and so was the milkshake my husband ordered. This is a sad day as we still are on the lookout for a great Mexican restaurant.

I can’t speak to service or atmosphere only food. We had the birria tacos (3) w/ the consomme. The meat was tender and tortilla perfect. The cook was done well. However, the meat had absolutely no flavor, very fatty pieces throughout which made it hard to eat and the meat was greasy. The consomme was the same. Very disappointed.

Wowwww! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. First of all, Lupe and Dulce, you guys are awesome and so kind and funny! Marco and Elena, keep being the cuties you are! Being part Mexican myself (Mom from Puebla) I like to think myself as a foodie so I have been on the hunt for a mexican restaurant close to my home and I have found it thanks to my best friend recommending it. They’ve only been open for a little over a year but Ay Dios Mio, their food is super fresh, done quickly and packed with ultimate Mexican flavor. I’m not a gordita for no reason, it’s cause when I see delicious looking food I will DEVOUR said delicious food! I want to try everything on their menu and trust me, my husband and I will 100% be back! Just look at those colors, they remind me of my beautiful Mexico Lindo. No duden en tratar esta comida deliciosa! Don’t doubt trying this delicious food! Come on down to Tino’s cause you won’t regret it. Also, bad reviews are from uncultured, non refined palleted non latinos so don’t trust those and come in and support a small local family owned business. Thank you for your amazing food Tino’s!!! My compliments to the chef!

Lived in the SW for 40 years. Been searching for a taste of real Mexican. Ordered an assortment of the menu. All good and will return. Menudo on point, been looking for years. Burrito had way too much rice. Tacos had double meat though! Enchiladas tasty. Kids devoured quesadillas. I wish there was more spicy sauce options and no tomatoes in the guacamole.

Food was subpar at the least. I was told 15 minutes to prepare my food and to come out with burnt shavings of steak that’s not even actual meat then they also combine somebody’s fish with what I had ordered. God forbid if I was allergic to the actual fish I don’t know who is eating this nasty, they so-called authentic Mexican food. This is not taste anything like Mexican food and I have had Mexican tacos nor do they put cottage cheese on the top and put all steak shrimp and fish in one platter instead of separating it when it is two different orders do not eat here if you do eat there, you clearly have no sense of seasoning taste .

As a Mexican myself I have tried many authentic places and have grown up eating this kind of food. And as a native I have to say this place is extremely disappointing. There is no flavor or trying here. I had enchiladas oaxacaño and another steak dish. Both had very little flavor which is something Mexican food is not known for. Feels like they didn’t try, the beans and rice were flavorless which is insane. And the main dishes themselves weren’t devoid of flavor but it feels like they didn’t try. The little meat they gave me was disappointing. Maybe I expected too much. I wouldn’t recommend this place, maybe if the prices were lower I wouldn’t mind but I don’t feel you get any value.
