I’ve gone here a few times hoping things will get better. Last time will be my absolute last time.

I ordered a several “sticks” (basically one bite of meat that’s been sliced thin and put on a tiny skewer for $1) and the pork was pink and mushy, not cooked all the way and tasted terrible.(don’t know if that was the sauce or raw pork) They replaced it with teriyaki beef- really thin that had that shiny rainbow sheen of a cheap cut of meat/ deli meat and tasted gross. The fried tofu was ok but the “spicy peanut sauce” was more like sweet and sour/duck sauce with chopped peanuts in it- not a traditional thai peanut sauce, more of a kitchen hack.

The thai tea had mushy boba that fell apart forming a gross lump in the middle and ALSO HAD A THICK BLACK HAIR on the inside. The cups are sealed before given out and I have light colored hair- so it was obvious it wasn’t mine.

I felt a bit ill after the uncooked pork and the hairy mushy boba. They offered me a new boba which was worse than the first one (but no hair) Nothing at all comped on the check, and this place is not cheap!

The atmosphere was super bright due to fluorescent lighting and I think the kitchen burned toast, because that’s all we could smell.

Huge disappointment- after being in business for a few years, now this should be better.

NOTE- If you want amazing boba and fantastic food in the best atmosphere, go to Mad Hatter Boba Emporium in Cumberland just down the road. Same prices but 10X better in every way!

The Khao Moo Dang was very delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful. The owner and her daughter are always very personable. The spring rolls are one of my favorites that I eat several times a week.

Impeccable. This is the best restaurant I’ve eaten at in the United States. Creative dishes with perfect fusion and flavor. Friendly staff and really cute fish tank. There is not one thing I would change. Will be driving the 1.5 hour to eat here again. We’re forever changed for the good

I am traveling from Ohio back to DC and stopped at Cafe Oasis for lunch. Very pleasantly surprised! Clearly fresh authentic Thai food. Vegan friendly and not too spicy at all!

I had the pannang curry with jasmine rice, summer roll, stir fried vegetables. The curry was delicious! I mean absolutely delicious!!! I was a little skeptical because it wasn’t packaged the way I’m used to (I live in Houston). All skepticism left at the first bite. I enjoyed my meal! I also appreciate the conversations I had with the owner, her daughter, and front cashier. They are very hospitable and friendly. Thank you for great service and food.

We’re always on the lookout for local gems, so during our trip to Maryland, we decided to check out a place we’d searched in the area. As soon as we walked in, we were surprised by how spacious the restaurant was. There was so much room, and it even had a spot where kids could play, or you could host a big event if you wanted to.

The owner and his family were so welcoming, and we could tell they really cared about their customers. They made us feel comfortable.

Now, the food – wow. We started with the shrimp and crab fried rice (it is a real crab) and the chicken panang curry, and each bite was packed with flavor. The spices were just perfect, and their chili garlic sauce? Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. I even thought the shrimp coconut was the fried rice at first, so now I’m really looking forward to trying that next time.

It was such a great find, and we’re so glad we stopped by!

This place is AMAZING. Sarah is an absolute food genius. Everything I’ve ever eaten here has been fantastic. They understand food allergies and sensitivities- GLUTEN FREE DUMPLINGS. need I say more?! The Pho is incredible. The Chive cakes are probably my most favorite food ever. And the Thai Iced tea is the best I’ve ever had. Don’t sleep on this beast. It’s a little pricy for the portion sizes, but makes up for it in flavor & quality ingredients!!
