decided to come here when visiting ocean grove/asbury
inside is nice, you can sit outside and eat too
don’t come here if it’s busy because it was 6pm, there was an average amount of people here and the 4 kids working still took a while. about 7 people outside and like 5 inside including us. after getting our food our waitress never came back to ask if we need anything, if the foods good, nada
the utensils had visible dirt/something on them when we opened the napkins, when my mom told the waitress, she didn’t seem too phased. didn’t say sorry or anything just took them and said “would you like new utensils” LOL
now for the food:
chicken bites were good but hella bland, “no antibiotic” and all that. they’re baked instead of fried, and they lowkey taste like antibiotic chicken bites you could get in bags from shoprite/walmart for cheaper, actually tasted like the chicken tenders i got at wawa yesterday.
got the american pie, was pretty good and tasted fresh, but way too small.
i asked for a coke they said the “italian cola” is the closest thing, it’s just a worse coke with less soda amount and less ingredients. i thought it was cool they gave you the bottle and you can poor it in the glass or drink from the bottle. tasted fine but like it was flat.
my mom got a black cherry soda it didn’t taste like much, tasted more like a cherry seltzer. was okay
tiramisu was pretty good and only 7 dollars
overrated imo but good if ur vegan or a health nut i guess. not a fan of how defensive the owner is against bad reviews, just copying and pasting replies and deflecting instead of acknowledging criticisms.

After a long travel day to Ocean Grove we always love going to Tino’s pizza! I always order to go, but the place is really nice and they have outdoor seating.
My favorite is the Dora pizza. It comes with sausage and pepperoni. Yummy. We also always order the Caesar salad. The dressing is so good and authentic you don’t need to ask for extra dressing. One is enough.
This time we ordered the meatballs appetizer. Goes great with the pizza. And the sauce with it is superb.
My mom always orders a mini cannoli. Fresh as flavorful!
Staff is great too! A big plus.

Caters to the average hungry person, the health conscious, and the Celiac alike. Workers were very knowledgeable and caring. Caroline was extremely helpful and attentive. It was my first time there, and I drilled them with a ton of questions, all answered to my satisfaction. I got the Gluten Free / Dairy Free 12 inch pizza. It isn’t cheap, but I got 2 days out of it, so it’s worth it. As for the taste; it was cooked to perfection. If you’re a pizza lover, the sauce might disappoint you. Not a good enough reason to not get it though. As a Celiac, I’ve learned that it’s not just all about taste. It’s about experience. And going to a place like Tino’s, where there’s a clean, friendly atmosphere, makes me feel like a normal person who can enjoy dining out. There are other standard, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian, and Vegan options. All reasonably priced. It really is a nice place worth checking out, and I will be going back. (:
UPDATE: Mon.Apr.14.2025: Just had my second Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free pizza, and it was even better this time! From the time I placed my order to go, it was literally in my hands within 8 minutes! This is gonna be a problem…cuz now I’m addicted!

absolutely! one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Thin crust and not too cheesy. The service was impeccable and friendly. as a matter of fact, I now remember I have a leftover slice in the fridge where I am staying. I’m sitting on the beach right now and can’t wait to get back to my room to polish it off! I’m just hoping my wife doesn’t remember…..

Great experience here. We had the Antonia pizza and a salad. Salad was wonderful, goat cheese and beets with a nice dressing. Pizza was great too if not a LITTLE salty but I’m going to blame the Klamata olives for that one! The sauce was great and it had a good crust. We will be back next time we’re in Ocean Grove!

This pizza is top quality and top notch. The flavors are exquisite and you can tell the ingredients are quality. Their salads and sandwiches are no joke either. I am local and my girlfriend I eat here very regularly and can’t get enough!

Beautiful establishment with lots of lighting and natural light. Staff was friendly. Was in the area for the day and was drawn in by the old school outside appearance. Pizza is definitely the best part of this experience. All ingredients are fresh and top quality. Made to order and just delicious. Also got eggplant and pasta dish and a chicken parmigiana sandwich. Pasta and sandwich were bland and lacked salt and were one note but the pizza was exceptional. Definitely recommend getting pizza because it is a work of art.

I had an excellent lunch at Tino’s in downtown Ocean Grove. For my appetizer, I really enjoyed the chicken bites with tomato sauce. My main meal was the chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich was topped with mozzarella and tomato sauce, which blended together very well. It also came with a little side salad. The service was quick, the prices were reasonable, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. I highly recommend Tino’s.

The food here is so fresh and delicious! We had the eggplant parm pizza which I had never heard of before and it was so good. None of their food is fried and it does not contain chemicals. Their menu was creative and had lots of choices. I also had blackberry soda which was also delicious. Highly recommend.
