Went here to order breakfast. Told the lady behind the counter this was my first time at Mel’s. So I asked questions about the menu. She was NOT helpful and never smiled. When I finally understood what I was ordering. She told me I need to sit at a table before she would wait on me. There was no line behind me. I will NEVER go back there again even if they offer free meals for life. I can not give a comment about food, I sure can give a comment about service being rude, not helping the customer with no smile. This happened 7/25/23 around 11am.

Great food and service with very fair prices. This is a place very well worth visiting if you are in the area. I had the double bacon cheeseburger with fries. There isn’t a lot of seating area, but great place to eat! One of the best burgers in the area. Mel’s has been around for a long time.

My father-in-law and I came to have breakfast this morning and we had an overall wonderful experience. Brandon and Mel were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and very comforting. I will definitely be back!

Mel’s is a small little diner with a lovely atmosphere. The 50s decor is eye catching for sure. The food itself is nothing complex or anything just good simple food. The main downside we have had in coming here has always been the wait time. Last time we went at 10am and there were only 3 other occupied tables but it still took a solid 30-35 minutes for us to get an omelet, and two pancake breakfasts. I might have said this was a one off but in the past half dozen times we have gone no matter the time of day or number of customers its always a minimum 30 minutes waiting on food.

Fried mushrooms were tasty, I got the Mel burger it was amazing! Their version of the juicy Lucy, a classic burger stuffed with cheese. The decor and music was that of the 50s. Make sure to get a fried pie togo because you will be to full to eat is there, but its worth it!

We got the early bird special & it was way too much for me to eat. Very good flavor & a plate full. It was clean, small & I loved the atmosphere. I believe though that they do need a little more help.

Wonderful family owned Diner. Great food and service. A place you can bring your family and feel like family. The owners are there working everyday and will sit and have a chat with you. Places like this are a great example of what makes America great.

We stopped in here thinking it would be nice diner. However, the waitress wasn’t very friendly. Our family will not be returning. It was clean but didn’t make up for the rudeness.
