the pizza was quite bland. The sauce lacked flavor and seasoning, the cheese felt rubbery and missing the rich, creamy factor, and the mushrooms were very dry. Overall, if you’re someone who enjoys a very plain, “margarita-style” pizza, this might be your spot.

Decided to finally stop in with my husband to give this restaurant a try. Ordered the truffle gnocchi bites, salad, and pepperoni pizza. Staff was friendly and immediately greeted us when we walked it. The truffle gnocchi bites were pretty good. I ordered the beet salad and asked for dressing on the side. It definitely came on it. When I told the food runner he insisted it was on the side and gave me more. I then took a few more bites and told our server and she said ” oh I heard”. So I basically just picked the chicken out. The pizza was ok, tasted similar to like a personal Blaze or Urban Bricks. Nothing I would crave in the future.

Tino’s has fast become our favorite pizzeria. Our young children always shout “Tino’s!” if I ask whether they want pizza for dinner. The pizzas are always great. We usually do pick up and eat at home but some times we go in to dine. The service is always great. Oh and for Valentines I asked if they could make a heart shaped pizza – it wasn’t advertised but I knew of another pizzeria doing it but didn’t want to go to another pizzeria. So I called and asked and they said we could request for one when we placed the order. We ordered two pizzas and one turned out better than the other but it didn’t matter. Our kids got a kick out of seeing a heart shaped pizza when they opened the box on Valentine’s Day.

My wife and I enjoy trying new pizza spots, though lately it’s been pretty lackluster in our search. Tino’s may be my new favorite pizza in the Montclair area. We ordered a Molisana and an American (with a standard amount of red sauce). Both were excellent, but the fact that the standard cheese pie was as solid as it was says a lot about their pizza. Definitely excited for our next order.

I recently ordered a cheesesteak from this place and became sick later that night. I had to go to the ER, and my tests confirmed food poisoning. I was extremely ill for two days, couldn’t eat, and felt absolutely miserable. Not only did it ruin my days, but I’m now facing a $3,000 bill for the emergency room visit. This place used to be my favorite to get a pizza but after this incident, I would not even go near this place.

Love the rustic style of their pizza. The “Antonia” is my favorite so far. Really enjoyed the Greco Salad & the Arancini bites too. Highly recommend.

Tino’s is the only pizza restaurant that we know of that is organically sourced and where the staff is knowledgeable regarding what brands are used for ingredients and the contents of the labels for the ingredients used in cooking. We very much appreciate their understanding and transparency and how accommodating they are to dietary concerns. We highly recommend them and for the delicious and healthy crust options they offer. The brick oven keeps the pizzas thin and crispy! Salads are fresh and delicious as well. Thank you to the entire staff, highlighting and commending Eduardo and Khaya’s kindness and professionalism!
