I purchased two Orders of the chicken tacos with rice and beans for take-out. Was let down by the taste. The chicken was super dry and had no seasoning, that I could taste. The rice and beans were very bland and not really appetizing, small portion. Definitely will not be ordering again. The worst $22.50 spent!

Came in here with two friends for lunch, we were seated right away. Service was quick and food was good. Tinga definitely has to be one of best Mexican restaurants that I’ve been too in Union county.

So we generally LOVE Tinga’s food, their flavors are great. We used to frequent pre-pandemic and now order delivery all the time. However I’ve been very disappointed the last four times we ordered and I even brought it up the last two times prior to ordering, hoping to avoid further disappointment. All of the sudden their quesadillas have barely any cheese.. Like, tons of very flavorful chicken but barely visible cheese. It’s so dry and hard to eat, we’ve had to add our own cheese every single time. The last two times we ordered we even specifically asked for extra cheese and they still came with barely any (see photo) and had to add more. One of our orders was a group order and everyone complained of the same thing. Thankfully we had extra cheese in our fridge to go around. But that shouldn’t have to happen – it’s a quesadilla, never would I expect to have to ask for cheese! Normally I wouldn’t write a review for a single item but having brought it up several times and even after asking, not getting what we ordered, it’s just very disappointing. Especially because it used to be our favorite item on the menu.

My wife and I stopped in on a cold winter evening and were greeted and seated quickly. Chips and tacos were tasty, my wife had a shrimp dish and she is very picky and she loved it. Portions were generous. Environment is chill and staff was friendly. Definitely headed back. Finally a new tacqueria that we can revisit.

I ordered the low carb shrimp which came with grilled shrimp over a bed of desert dry spinach smothered with cheese. There was no Pico, guac, which I had to order extra. The drinks were virgin margaritas which tasted like water with a packet of sugar and green food coloring. Waiter seemed to be dazed. A few things we wanted to try while exploring the menu werent available and and asked why waiter was clueless i.e. the chicken tortilla soup which he claimed “used to be very popular.” Only good thing was being allowed to bring our pups to sit outside. Other wise food wasn’t worth it and service subpar.

I need to start by saying that the smell out in the community is what brought me here. I ordered the steak taco..it came with rice and beans and chips and salsa. The food was so flavorful and so good. I will be back to try more items

My husband and I each ordered the BBQ brisket sliders (these are mini tacos) they were so good, so flavorful and perfectly cooked brisket. My husband also got the avacado fritas I tried a bite even though I generally don’t like avacado and they were really good, the dipping sauce is amazing! This place is a gem.
