You better get down to Tina Tacos and bless your taste buds with these tasty and cheesy tacos. The restaurant is small with limited seating so get down there early. I really enjoyed the layer chicken nachos so yummy and delicious. The service is fast and you will not be disappointed. So many varieties of tacos to order such as jerk, shrimp and fish. I heard the drinks are strong and well worth every penny.

So this is an odd one feels like someone’s front room got converted into a bar that also serves tacos. The good news is the tacos are pretty damn good. Very close to the authentic Mexican type crispy shells grape flavors and there’s also a jerk chicken variety just for fun. Super quick casual informal great taco joint. Oh and you can also get a drink at the bar.

I got the vegetarian chalupa and birria and added avocado. It tasted pretty alright but you can tell that the vegetables aren’t fresh, potentially all canned. It’s ridiculous to charge the same price as meat when the vegetable option is canned potatoes, mushrooms, and beans. The chalupa “shell” is too thick, small, and firm to wrap the vegetables in, so I ate those separately and then poured the broth on the veggies and used a fork to eat the rest. The shell is good because it’s fried dough.
$17 is insane for this (plus $1 for avocado). If it were $12 I might recommend it after having a few drinks. I paid $21.86 after a 20% tip.
I never visited the place that was here before (Plated Nickel?) but it looks like they changed nothing about the dive bar interior except add a TV to play Bob’s Burgers on. It’s dark, dingy, and the noise from the beer fridges full of White Claw is louder than a conversation. There are two or three tables but the atmosphere is terrible.

Edit: a year ago I went here and highly recommended, today when I visited the experience was drastically different. I still recommend for the food, however I’d suggest ordering ahead, pickup exactly when it’s ready but don’t spend an extended time inside. One of my favorite things is entering a restaurant, being given the impression that you wish I wasn’t there, being ignored, listening to comments made under someone’s breath, not being asked if I want a drink and being stared it. I like it even more when it’s someone whose skin tone looks like mine. (I hope the sarcasm was dripping). Moral of the story is maybe get delivery. I’m not sure I’d ever eat here again.
I cannot describe how good the food was. I was so confused, I thought for sure my mom was in the kitchen slow roasting beef for 12 hours. Drinks were very good as well, liquid Marijuana is clutch. Would recommend.

First time it was amazing. I had a fish taco, jerk chicken taco and the Birria box that comes with a quesadilla, taco and chalupa. Everything was hot, fresh and amazing. He even complemented me with a free bottle of new hot sauce. Second time was even better than the first. Jerk chicken taco and the quesabirria taco box. Just as amazing as the first time if not better. I highly recommend, it’s worth every dime

This place is amazing. I heard great things about this place and when I was working around the corner I knew exactly where I was going for lunch. I ordered the Chicken Taco Box with fries. Step foot inside its a whole vibe. The cashier was kind. I left her a nice tip. The food was splendid. I’m definitely coming back soon. Highly recommend 10/10

Its always interesting seeing a restaurant with a lot of 5 stars and a lot of 1 stars because you don’t know what to expect. From my personal experience however it was amazing.
The food was fantastic, I got the Belcher box which had a taco, chalupa and a quesadilla. We got a chicken one and a beef one. Both were so tender and juicy and the birria just added so much to the flavor. It’s a little pricy but it’s made up because they shove so much meat into it so you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. Also got the jerk chicken taco and man was that tasty. Very rich in flavor. I wanted to try more things but I was so full. Will definitely be coming back to try some of the other menu items.
The food also came out pretty quick I think we only waited about 15 minutes for all the food which I think is a very reasonable time since they said everything is made to order. By the time I left there was a huge dinner rush so I have high hopes for them to succeed! They’re food definitely deserves it.
Also they serve Halal meat!!!!! Big bonus for me

I saw this place on IG and wanted to give it a try. I was skeptical walking in bc it’s on a dark corner but once inside it was fine. The tacos were really good but they didn’t have the vegan option or the mango for the mango margaritas. Tacos were awesome but the drinks were ass.

Birria ramen came with shredded chicken didn’t even give me the option of meat, then they delivered the ramen did not separate the noodles for the broth. Noodles were swollen with no broth in it. The veggie nachos were a smack on the face literally only beans and cheese over chips and found a fry in the nachos. Disgusting customer service pissed I ordered from here

Tina’s Tacos has exceptionally delicious food. It’s a bit pricey, but their quality of food is so worth it!! My daughter visited here at the Philadelphia location, on York St. & Memphis St. It was her birthday, yesterday and chose Tina’s for her dinner! She chose the taco box and the dirty nachos. I love the chicken tacos,and the broth is awesome!!
