Tina’s Kitchen was straight up good. I came in starving and left out stuffed. My burger was so big, thick, and loaded my jaws got tired eating it, but it was so good I couldn’t stop. Fries were fried just right and complimented the meal perfectly. If you down that way and wanna get a good meal, stop by and get full.

Very hit or miss on quality of the food. First two orders were great. Ordered a double cheeseburger meal today. Online and over the phone said meal comes with a large drink. Then had to pay nearly 3$ extra for the “included” drink at pickup. “Cheese fries” were a plate of microwaved shredded cheese on fries plastered to paper, ruining them as it peeled off with the cheese brittle on top. If you’re starving with enough money to throw away 20+ dollars per person, eat here! You’ll only regret it a little bit

I picked up dinner here which included chicken strips, fried catfish and a burger, and all of it was really good. I myself had the catfish and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Chicken strips and burger looked delicious and the others said we’re really good as well. When in that area this will be my place to go.

Brings back childhood memories. Although D&H has changed owners throughout my life, it still has that home feeling. Great vibes and people. Great food.

Tina’s Kitchen, a Doyline “landmark”.
Back in 2006 or so, while I was driving back-and-forth to Haughton from west of Fort Worth (up to 3 times a week), it was Tina’s Kitchen that kept me from starving. 🙂

It’s a long, but very cool story that I only tell in person usually over a beer.

It has changed hands many times since then, but Mark’s folks rustled me up a burger all the way, fries, and a giant fountain drink that really hot the spot…. both nutritionally today and nostalgically.

Stop by and get some fuel for you and your car!

Damn good killer double cheeseburgers!
Fries, onion rings, tater tots…all good. It’s the kind of nasty, messy, greasy cheeseburgers that I crave. Got to have one at least once a week. And the ladies who work the grill are just a bunch of great rednecks like me.

American Dream. Driving from Florida to Nevada and back, we stopped here on the recommendation of Lake Bistineau State Park where we were staying. We were told it recently changed owners and to check it out. Wow, were we impressed. We ordered our late lunch and watched as the new family of owners wiped tables, filled shakers, priced store items and greeted customers with a smile and hug!!! As small business owners ourselves, we were very impressed with the effort this family is putting in, to fit in. The food was very good and the waitress professional and friendly. And maybe it’s the country girl living in the city that loves the old gas pumps outside and the steady stream of locals, police and firefighters coming in with their small daughters on their hips to pick out a soda and bag of chips. A gem.

They have a variety of food. Burgers, boudin, chicken, poboys, salads, breakfast and child plates. My daughter loved the cheese burger and my shrimp poboy was delicious. Definitely worth the price. It’s family owned and the people are always so nice.

We come here quite a bit during the day and have never had any problems. We stopped today during the evening shift and WILL NOT BE BACK. OUR WAITRESS COULDENT BE BOTHERED AFTER WE ORDERED. Our food came out separately. My husband was half way through his meal before I received mine. We watched her sit on her butt and concentrate o e her phone. It was slow, but I have worked in the serving business and in my experience, your customers should be taken care of first. We were never checked on after receiving our food. I caught another lady to ask her about the amount of bacon on my burger (which was one extremely small strip broken into two pieces) for the price I should have at least been able to taste the bacon on it. When I asked the lady, I was rudely told that “That’s what it is.” When we finished our food we sat there waiting because we still had not received our check/ticket. We finally gave up after a few minutes and went to the register. When called on for a ticket…she couldnt be bothered to bring it up to the register either. We told the cashier everything we had and paid for it. Our server was a heavy set , blond haired woman, with one speed…I believe her name was Tina. We were extremely disappointed with this evening’s experience. We will wont be back when she is there of we return at all. It breaks my heart because I loved it there.
