Great Korean comfort food in a small dining room in Ellicott City. I ordered their Seolleongtang with brisket. Broth isn’t as rich and creamy compared to other places but it was still pretty good. Many pieces of brisket. I did add quite a bit of salt. My daughter really wanted their bimbimguksu, but they don’t have it anymore. She got their bimbimnaengmyun and liked it. The steamed egg with cheese was good and unique.
Come early to avoid the wait time!

We had a good time there. The seafood pancake was great. The snowflake dumplings were good too. And of course the beef bone soup was very good. I would advise to get the one with the three different beef. We also like their side dishes. So yes, we’re likely to go back.

My first feeling when I come to this restaurant is welcoming town in Korea . Nice and clean asmosphere . The food is authentic and delicious. Good place to check out and to fill up your stomach …

Very pleased by the quick service of tasty Ox bone soup aka Seolleongtang (Korean: 설렁탕). Neat, cozy and super clean feel family restaurant, with soft K-pop playing(APT etc). It’s quickly filled by locals ordering cold noodles, before I completed my meal. But Ox soup/sides combo were so refreshing even on a hot summer day, reminding me of the last soup experience on the bayside NY.
Good quality salt/pepper/utensils offered at each table, I will be back and try more!

Phenomenal authentic Korean bone broth soup place. The food including the kkakdugi banchan is all thoroughly well made and were absolutely delicious. In addition, the service was very fast and attentive.
Have had many Korean soups and “tangs” in the Baltimore area and this place was an immediate top of the list. Looking forward to coming back to this new favorite

They seem to be adding new menus, but none are as good as their seolleongtang. I wish they would just focus on what they do best. The yukgaejang has all the right ingredients, but the flavors don’t come together well. The seafood pancake falls apart, as if they’re using the wrong kind of batter. Still, I like the people there—they’re always positive and welcoming. (Sep 2025).

(July 2025) The cold boodles and seolleongtang are very authentic and really delicious. They serve four kinds of side dishes, and each one tastes great.
The only thing is that the tables are close together, so I hope they clean empty tables more quietly.

The soup was decent but the noodles were very pedestrian. Overall the food was disappointing and very pricey for what you got. Best part is the included appetizers.

This is the best seafood pancake (haemul pajun) I ever had in my life. The ingredients are so fresh and it’s very clear that every dish is made with care and intention. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere feels relaxing, homey, like you’re sitting down at the kitchen table waiting for some really good home cooking.

This has to be the BEST Korean restaurant in this Baltimore/Ellicott City area. Love this place! Very HIGH quality food.
After coming back from several weeks in Korea, this is the only Korean restaurant in the area I actually feel like I can tolerate, let alone enjoy. It’s THAT good. Their menu isn’t extensive. But for what they make, it’s top notch, especially seollengtang! I also like their cold noodle also. Highly recommended.
Their kimchee is also top-notch!

It’s a small shop specializing in soups. The seafood pancake is amazing and the Seolleongtang is probably the best on the East Coast. There side dishes are also the tastiest on the RT 40 strip from all the korean resteraunts, probably only bested by Cho Sun Hwaro, but for that price I expect it to be better.
