Guy behind the bar was really nice & helpful!
Great service.
Smashburger with bacon was yummy! Burger had lots of bacon on it lol. Fries were awesome. Love the cute container it came in.
Got an Arnold Palmer too which was good. They had a great selection of zero proof drinks! Although I would have loved to see a curated zero proof cocktail!
Overall this place is a vibe & it’s cutesyyyy!
Tina’s is a refined, low-key neighborhood bar with a moody, high-end feel. It’s a good spot for small groups (1–6). The house beer was solid, cocktails were enjoyed by my friends, and the burger was good, though not quite the “best in the city” as some claim. Overall, it’s a nice addition to the neighborhood and the Tulsa bar scene.
Unfortunately, the experience was undercut by unwelcoming service. The bartender we had came across as condescending and impatient, making the interaction feel sterile and pretentious rather than hospitable. When I asked to put a drink on my brother’s tab and pointed to him, she sarcastically responded, “Who’s him?” She also snapped at a friend for reaching for a straw and abruptly moved on to help others while we were still waiting in line.
We ordered food and several drinks but felt more like an inconvenience than paying customers. Based on our experience—and similar comments in other reviews (and defensive replies from the business)—it seems good customer service may not be a top priority at Tina’s. It also seems that patrons in the 21–25 age range may not be the clientele this bar wants to serve. If so, that should be made clearer. The concept is strong, but basic warmth and courtesy would go a long way.
However, the bartenders are short with answering questions and blatantly rude. Came around 6PM once with a group and we sat outside. We all ordered food and the individuals with us over 21 went to the bar to order drinks. We were asked for our IDs to validate our age -which we happily did. I tried ordering three Modelo’s as the line for the bar was long and I did not want to get up again to order. I was told that I was only allowed to order two drinks at a time because I might give it to an underage friend. I assured them that I wouldn’t and they could even watch me drink them outside. I went back outside and quickly a bartender followed me to verify that everyone sitting at our table was of age. We told them that two individuals in our group were not 21, however, they did not order drinks or attempt to get any. We were told that any individuals under 21 were required to leave immediately and would not be served food or we would have to take it to go.
There are no signs on the patio signaling that the restaurant is 21+, nor did the waiter warn us that we wouldn’t be able to eat the food we just paid for and ordered.
I was curious if this was just my experience, being someone in their mid 20s, or if everyone was treated like this. When I ask people if they enjoy going to Tina‘s, It seems the number one complaint is the rudeness of the bartenders.
