If I could give tonight’s experience 20 stars I would. Eileen was an absolutely incredible service provider and on her a game all night. The food was absolutely delicious and so beautifully prepared. The drinks were exquisite and like the salad, ice cold the way you dream of. The meal was piping hot. That never happens.
My little party of 8 drive about an hour and a half each way and it was as it’s always been perfect. Thank you so much.

We found it off the beaten path. And they’re creamy mild wings are probably the best wings I ever had. My wife and I had a wonderful time here and really enjoyed the food. It was quiet and just all around Lovely. Next time we’re in this neck of the woods we will be returning here!

Went here tonight and had an amazing time. Eileen and Lola helped serve us and they were amazing. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. We got the crab stuffed salmon and the ribeye. The atmosphere is amazing and so are the people! Highly recommend!

Went in for date night and it was phenomenal. Quirky place with a great vibey atmosphere.
Hand-made cocktail (hand middles lavender and berries), fresh salad, fresh baked bread.
Had the seafood diavola and chicken parm and the parm was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The breading was phenomenal.
Seafood was loaded with different seafood, simple delicious sauce.
Amazing all around.

Nice and quirky, it was a little chilly today, or we would like an outdoor beer before dinner, surely the song birds don’t seem to mind extra company. Our tableflowers are looking interesting and fresh as if they were just picked from someone’s garden. I like the golden beet in salad, the fresh shrimps in pad thai and the pork belly from the linguini. Overall, a romantic and enjoyable evening, with easy-listening music

This place is on a back road which was pretty cool. We walked in and waited 10 mins for someone to come to greet us and they were in the kitchen cooking Im assuming. We arrived at 7:45. We said there were 2 of us d we were told we wouldn’t be seated for at least 45 mins. There weren’t many people that were visible. I asked if I needed a reservation. The lady said it would be good to have one. We weren’t planning on dining there we were up that way and Googled place to eat and it was our anniversary so the menu selection loomed great. It was better than the average place. It was sad we didn’t get the opportunity to dine there. The place was very old looking inside and the setting was or would of been a romantic setting. I would love to go try a meal there to get the full experience.

First time eating here and LOVED it. Atmosphere, food, service, the whole 9 yards was 10/10. I love unique places like this – not cookie cutter chain restaurants. It did take awhile for our food and drinks but I didn’t mind it one bit – I like being able to enjoy our drinks and company for awhile before food comes out. It seems that restaurants these days have everything come out so quick – appetizers come 5 min after drinks and 5 min after that the meal comes. It’s all so quick to fully enjoy. The Nutty Pear experience is exactly what a dining out experience should be – enough time to ENJOY and relax. Not in and out in 1 hour. That being said, just keep that in mind when you go. Don’t expect to be in and out in 1 hour. Expect to relax and enjoy it all! Pictured is the chicken carbonara I ate – delicious!

A hidden gem. Still the best restaurant in Schuylkill county; the food is top notch and the service is too. And of course, the ambiance is wonderful, quaint and picturesque. Well worth a trip!

First off I want to start by saying I was with a party of 5 and that this place is strictly RESERVATIONS ONLY. There is only one poor waitress working there it seems. The place does not accept physical credit cards either.
I’ll be doing a list of things via category, those being; menu/food, wait time, service, atmosphere, bill/money
Menu/Food:
Nothing too exciting, it felt like too much and too little at the same time. I wish the items were more descriptive. We had tried a little of everything. The spice options on the menu were barely a sneeze. When I’m seeing something advertised as spicy I’d think it’d be spicy, unfortunately it was not what I’d hope. Little to none honestly. Their fish and meat were deliciously cooked and served, tasted very fresh. The salads that came with dishes were disgustingly drenched in the dressings we chose, not in a good way…. One of us had a balsamic vinaigrette chosen, it tasted so sour I could barely stand having it in my mouth for longer than two seconds. It was more like a serving of dressing with a side of salad. I had an appetizer of the buffalo cauliflower, that was probably the spiciest thing on the menu. My friend had the spicy potstickers (seeing a pattern? We’re spice people and desire flavor) they didn’t taste like anything but the dough. The Entrees were amazing I may say though. No proportions was made too big or too small, they were perfect. The sauces and flavoring of them were delicious, and paired very nicely with the main focus of the meal. Nothing was drenched in too too little or too much. Though it was not worth it for the next category….
Wait Time:
We had arrived at 6:00 and seated shortly after. We had 10 minutes of a wait before asked our drinks and then a wait of 5 until we got them. After we had a wait of 15 ish minutes before our initial order was taken. It took about 15 to 20 minutes for the appetizers to come out and then 30 for the salads to come out. That actual entrees came out after 45 minutes to an 1 hour. We usually eat and dine for only an hour and a half, we eat quick and expect quick service.
Service:
The service was lovely. Our waitress was respectful and very helpful when asked any questions. I feel bad for her since it seemed like the only one on the floor. She was the bus girl, waitress, and hostess. Upon arrival she did tell us that they don’t accept physical cards but told us all other options. I understand that the wait time was long due to her being the only one there but they should have at least two waitresses because her juggling all of that was ridiculous. (Coming from a former waitress from different places)
Atmosphere:
Too many string lights, everywhere you look. It makes the place look tacky. Made my head hurt and I had to step outside. Had a deep wood and wine smell pleasant at first but then added to the headache. More or less targeted to the older generation, I’m a young adult.
Bill/money:
The bill was roughly 260 and the tip made it too 300. Each person was roughly 30 to 50. Not bad honestly, but not really worth it including the salad with the way they were.

It was the first time at this restaurant and the dinner was vegetables with spinach ravioli. All scratch made food which was by far the best I’ve ever had. A quaint little place just a bit off the beaten path. The service was excellent also. I will definitely be visiting there again and again.
