The environment was very chill and welcoming.
I didn’t expect much but I had a very nice time. Better than golden corrale
Would come again.
Definitely clean your bathroom more tho. That’s all. Much love <3
The hot and sour soup was lukewarm. I ate a bunch of fish because I couldn’t really find much that I liked. The bok choy was very bitter, and some pieces of it looked like they were rotted. I got very very sick and spent the entire evening on the toilet crying and praying to god to make it go away. I went to the bathroom, Something like nine times between yesterday and this morning. It was excruciatingly painful. I cannot describe the immensity of the pain other than it was torturous. It’s currently 4 AM and I never even got to sleep last night. But my stomach finally feels better
So I highly don’t recommend this place. The service was OK and the building is nice but the food is absolutely terrible. Yes I also had the sushi but I don’t know what made me so deathly ill. My daughter also got sick and she is pregnant. We both had a hot and sour soup, and when she told me it wasn’t very hot, I’d trade it anyway and she was right. It was barely even warm. I don’t think that the food is being kept at safe temperatures.
I really want to call them and demand a refund but I’m sure they will require me to drive back to Gresham and I live in the west hills and my daughter lives in Hillsboro so the chances of getting a refund are slim to none. I highly recommend you skip this place. Maybe the health department should go check the temps on their food warmers.
EDIT TO ADD: I spoke with the manager today and explained the situation. She said there have been problems in the past with people bringing their poorly behaved pets and emotional support animals, who then caused problems at the buffet, frightened other customers, and were disruptive. She then apologized for the misunderstanding and said she will speak to the employees. I told the manager that they will not find a stronger ally against pets and ESAs where they shouldn’t be than a service dog handler because those animals have, at times, attacked our service dogs, and now we are without our $30k medical equipment (yes, a task trained service dog is worth that much, if not more). I told the manager we’re on the same side and have tge same goal: no pets or ESAs in restaurants, but yes to service dogs. So, we’re all good.
It felt, edible… I don’t know. There are better buffet places in town. Not worth the journey if it’s not just down the street.
Bathroom… Serviceable at least.
The one thing, ONE THING, that really surprised me was the little tiramisu cake. It was actually good.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I will definitely be returning to Tin Tin Buffet for more culinary delights in the future.
