Wow what a long experience!! Took a long time to get our food and was at a table of 4 and each got our food one at a time with long periods in between. Craziest thing that each table was experiencing the same. Complaints were similar amongst the tables. From first served dish to last was an hour or more. Appetizers were over cooked with no taste… after a long wait for them too. Pizza was cold , again after a long wait. We had an hour drive to get there and was excited to try the place after following on Facebook but what a disappointment. We won’t be back. The atmosphere is cute so hopefully this was just a bad night and they can get things pulled together. Don’t like to speak so negative about a small local owned business, but too many flaws not to give this review.

Honestly, if you haven’t been to this place since it was formally known as Pittsburgh pizza, then you definitely are missing out! Hell, maybe you remember LJ’s?! THIS PIZZA IS GOOD. The owners put in a pretty penny in remodeling this place! You have to check it out for yourself. They currently do not offer carry out because they want to make sure they cater to their dedicated dine-in customers, first! I love that!! It’s a small joint, so be patient with their kitchen staff and servers. They’re all here for you in the end 🙂 10 stars!

Our first drink didn’t even come from our waitress. The kitchen staff noticed we hadn’t been served & stepped up! The 2nd drink took about 50mins. The 3 of us who will travel up to 90mins for wings & karaoke, agree these had to be the worst wings by far. Don’t be fooled into thinking it’s karaoke either. More of a kids talent show. Little kids under 12 singing in between adults taking a turn

The new iteration of Tin Roof Tavern is worlds better than the first version. I had a great chili dog. Others in my party had good pizza, good macaroni “forges,” a good giant pretzel, and good salad. Drinks were pretty good. I look forward to coming back.

This place was very special. The food was very good, the best pizzas I’ve tried in a while. Drinks were outstanding as well.
The servers were very kind and they served our food very quickly.
Lastly, the restaurant is very well decorated and the environment was fun and cozy.
I will definitely come back. Keep up the good work.

The food is so good here, I was truly blown away! Our family dined in for dinner one night including 6 children under 10 and we had plenty of room to spread out and felt right at home and had a wonderful time. Our waitress was excellent and the food came out hot and fast and absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend the pretzels, quesadilla, or cheese pizza enough!

Couldn’t tell you about the service, food or atmosphere because when we got to the door we were greeted by a sign that said “only serving pizza due to staffing issue”. So we left. I get being patient with a new business BUT a business has to run with some intelligence and be staffed accordingly before opening. We live in this new era where mediocrity is widely accepted. Well I don’t accept it. My money is hard earned. We drove 15 miles to try the food here and gas isn’t cheap. Wont be back.
