Welcome to Tin Lizzy’s Taco Americana, the refreshed Midtown location of Atlanta’s beloved Tin Lizzy’s Cantina. Inspired by the relaxed, breezy west coast city of Palm Springs—the desert oasis known for its mid-century modern architecture and California-cool lifestyle—you’ll be transported with thoughtful design elements. Warm white oak paneling, vibrantly colored textiles and beach-chic original artwork set the scene. We welcome you to pull up a chair in the airy dining room, at the welcoming bar or on the easygoing patio, and explore the menu.
Trendy taco spot with a patio offering Mexican eats, plus skillets & fried pickles.

Unfortunately, both cocktails felt overly basic and lacked depth and balance. We struggled to finish them, and overall, the drinks did not justify the visit. If you are looking for thoughtfully crafted cocktails or a memorable bar-hopping experience, this may not be the ideal spot or not even for any cocktails.
Your restaurant looked steady, but not busy or understaffed.
It took over 20 minutes for our first drinks. We had been sat for an HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES before our tacos came out.
This was after our server came to tell us the lobster tacos I ordered were out of stock (a good 30-40 minutes after ordering).
Second round of drinks took just as long.
From walk in to pay, it took almost 2 and a half hours – FOR TACOS.
Who is managing this place? They are clearly failing. Do better. I know it’s the south, but I used to live in the south, and it’s not this slow.
A shame we aren’t local so we can come regularly!
Jack was the best! Ask for him.
