I was really excited to try this restaurant after hearing great things, but I was disappointed. I ordered the Panang Curry and Tikka Masala through Uber Eats with spice level 1, yet both were so spicy they were inedible for me and my husband, and we usually enjoy spice. The curry portion was also surprisingly small, with the container less than half full (pic is before eating any). The food looked and smelled great, but sadly we couldn’t eat it and had to toss it. I really wanted to love this place, but this experience just missed the mark.

You can edit your dish however you want and choose which type of protein you’d like so it’s vegetarian friendly and also so so so delicious. My server was Mark and he was pretty cool, Very friendly with everyone. The food came so fast. I’m also glad that I got a milk tea drink because I got a spicy dish and that helped.

Amazing delicious food and friendly staff! I got the firecracker cauliflower and Singapore noodles both would delicious. It’s a great casual lunch spot. If you enjoy South Asian food I highly recommend. I will be back!

We had the curry, pad Thai, and wings. Everything had great flavor. Most of the food came out barely warm, but it was still delicious. The service was very kind. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Some things were questionable…like the crutch holding open the freezer door and the cute postcards that have probably never been dusted lol. Overall it’s a cute little spot with very tasty food! We will be back

Ordered the Tikka Masala Curry. The flavor was great but the portion size looked like a lunch portion – I ordered at 8:30pm. I have gotten the same dish from 3 other Tin Drum locations and it has always come as a container of Tikka Masala and a separate container of rice. This location gave me one container (same size as other locations) but it was filled half with rice and half with Tikka Masala, so I effectively got only a half portion. I love Tin Drum, but I will not be returning to this location.

Didn’t have high expectations from the reviews but met some friends there for lunch and we were all pleasantly surprised. Our food came out quickly and was the correct temperature. Soups were very tasty. Cracker her cauliflower was good and a good size portion. My friend said the boba tea was also very good. I will definitely return. My only issue was the restaurant was freezing. Employees were super nice and welcoming also.

I ordered ginger Thai chicken and the chicken looked like sliced roast chicken meat that you get at the deli. Not to mention the chicken also tasted like roast chicken meat from the deli Covered in ginger, Thai Sesame flavor. This is off putting because I expect that the chicken will be sliced up chicken breast or thighs, freshly cooked, with larger chunks of meat. I had to think to myself if this was a second time that I experienced that. What is happening here? I’ve never seen this before at the location at George Tech. Are we not able to afford fresh chicken breast meat, and cook it?

I was excited to eat here because I like Tin Drum overall and I was hungry. I ordered orange chicken stir fry and a chai tea. The tea was really good. The stir fry lacked some flavor. The orange chicken was bland and a bit overcooked. I was definitely disappointed. The service as fast though and the cashier was really helpful and patient. I liked the location; there was ample parking and a lot of other businesses in the area. It was clean in there and I used the restroom during my visit. It was really clean too. I’d go back to try this location again, but I would get something else next time.

I came here and it was super busy. The employees were older and nice. I got my drink immediately. She rung me up for something else but told me it was the same price. I was surprised to receive a 32 oz for a large. The price was great even though it only slightly lacked in flavor. I know most places have a 20/24oz for larges, so that was a pretty good deal. It was nice sitting down and resting. Available tables were clean and so was the restroom.

I’ve been a longtime fan of Tin Drum — the food and flavors are consistently excellent across most locations. Occasionally, I’ve run into small issues with order accuracy, spice levels, presentation, and redeeming app rewards (even though points and bonus offers keep showing up).
Some staff say rewards can only be used on the next or in-store order, which gets confusing. Still, the food is outstanding, and guests will keep coming back — though it’d be great if the rewards system were simplified or clarified.
