Just started working in Hanford from Exeter a couple weeks ago. Finally decided to go out to lunch with a coworker. Never tried this place, didn’t expect much. It looks simple, the prices are very fair, and honestly it just looks like a little rinky dink burger stand. This place was great! I got chicken tender combo with sidewinder fries and my coworker got a veggie burger and regular fries with extra seasoning. The chicken tenders were hand breaded in house and don’t taste like your typical commercial chicken tenders. They were flavorful and crispy with a distinct taste that was very pleasantly surprising. My coworker got a veggie burger that was absolutely delicious. The patty wasn’t soggy at all and tasted like cheese. The flavor was very good, zero complaints, she’d absolutely get it again. She did say she is picky with veggie patties and this one was absolutely perfect. The person who took our order had above and beyond amazing with his service. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and very kind and brought out our order to us. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area. Cant wait to try their burgers and shakes next time

THE SHORT VERSION:
Good food, good price. Worth the stop.
THE LONGER VERSION:
Tim’s is a worn-looking drive-in which could be easy to miss. I’m fairly certain that it’s nesting in the bones of an original A&W and that some of the equipment may be original. But I kind of like the dive vibe, so that didn’t put me off.
The menu is fairly simple – it’s a burger drive in, so the main items on their menu are all burgers and fries. There were some chicken options and a grilled cheese sandwich, but mostly you are choosing from variations of hamburgers with or without cheese and with or without bacon.
Their soda fountain dispenses Pepsi products, which is a negative in my book, but it’s never make or break for me.
I placed my order from my car by pressing an intercom button on the driver-side reader board after pulling in to one of the spaces. There was outdoor seating (picnic tables) and it looked like an order window for walk-ups, but I wanted to eat drive-in-style (and didn’t see any other parking).
Let’s talk food!
First, the prices were great! I got a combo with a larger drink for less than a McDonald’s meal. And I added a grilled cheese sandwich (a bargain at only $3.50). Altogether, $17. How often do you get a big meal for less than twenty bucks these days? I consider that a huge plus!
Next, the quality was spot on. The burger was good (a little thin, but tasted fine). The bacon was crispy, the cheese was melted, and the buns held together and tasted fresh. Lots of vegetables on top too. The tomato slice was just right, not too much lettuce but enough, and the dill pickle slices were amazing. I had to resist the urge to ask for a barrel to go with me… The grilled cheese was solid (in a good way) – two slices of Texas toast, lots of cheese (but not too much); grilled just right.
The fries were the only oddity, and they were good. I suppose the batter may have boosted the crunch a bit. I didn’t see the point to it. It wasn’t seasoned. It added nothing to what were decent fries. It didn’t take anything away either. It was just there.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
The food came fast, tasted good, was affordable, and I liked the atmosphere. I’ll go back!

This place is killer. The service is great and the food is even better. Fresh ingredients on the burgers. Pretty cheap too, considering the area. Fed 2 for $23. Some room for improvement I think exists too, such as adding cheese options or having whole patties instead of the chicken tender sandwiches as I feel they devolve to a mess pretty quick.

Service is top tier and food is fresh a flavorful. Great little spot for a fast food bur quality. I ordered the mushroom and onion burger as a combo. My child got the chicken nuggets and those were also really good. The fries are beer battered fries that are crunchy and perfect amount. Will definitely be going back!

This little hole in the wall doesn’t look real inviting on the drive by, but I would recommend taking the time to stop for a burger or other tasty menu item here. The owner himself has been here doing the cooking and by far has one of the best burgers I’ve had. Made fresh and any way you like it. His service goes unmatched. Prices are reasonable if not below the average going lunch menu. Next time you’re in the area skip the traditional fast food chain and try a real old fashion burger right here at Tim’s. I promise you will not be disappointed.
