Loved this quaint little tea room! My baby shower was hosted here. The service and atmosphere was great. The food was delicious and everything was reasonably priced. Such a hidden gem!

Called ahead and was told there was no wait. Showed up 5 minutes later and waited over 45 minutes until we eventually just left. There were not that many customers in the restaurant and it appeared they didn’t have enough help. We love the fruit tea, the food is decent, and the atmosphere is nice when you can actually get in. Staff wasn’t overly friendly but I guess I wouldn’t be either if I was running the show by myself.

My sister in law and I went to the tea room for lunch. Everything was excellent. I loved the orange and spice tea. The turkey sandwich and everything with it was great. If it was up to me 10 star review . I live in Ohio but I will visit The Tea Room again.

Despite the SIGN outside the door and Google stating they are open Mon-Saturday, they are CLOSED ON MONDAY. Ive been a longtime customer, but have had mutiple disappointing experiences. Being turned away because the whole place was reserved for some stupid party, running out of chicken salad, being CLOSED when they shouldve been open, long waits to be seated. Ive recommended this place to out of town friends before, but now Im scared theyll try it and be disappointed as well. Need to update the Google account AND the sign. I had planned on browsing the nearby shops while we were there, but since we were hungry, we left the downtown area to find food and didnt come back, so those local shops lost potential business.

I enjoy everything I ordered, I enjoy bringing my family and friends . It’s a bit of a Drive, I’m 15 miles from Gatlinburg, but today they even waiting for me to get there, we had the place to our self, I said it’s like Elvis Presley or Michael Jackson they had to rent the whole restaurant, to have it to their self, lol. Then to all the little shops , to shop shop shop.

I used to love coming here. Today, my group was treated terribly. We came on our lunch break and were one of the first groups there when they opened. Our server was very nice, but the owner literally sucks. We just talked the whole time we were waiting for our food, didn’t ask for anything. After we waited 50 minutes for our food, we asked our waitress nicely if we could get our food to go because we had to go back to work. She was very kind and even brought us drinks to go without us asking. We just paid all together to make it easier on them. The owner was horrible from the moment we got there. The whole time my friend was paying he was shaking his head and rolling his eyes. She filled it out and the receipt barely had ink on it and she accidentally missed the signature. The owner yelled at her, leaving the restaurant silent and looking. Then talked to her like a child telling her to sign it. Proceeded shaking his head and saying rude things as we left. We tipped the lady $20 but wanted to tell him to keep his food. We will not be back, and we have been going there for years. A grown man acting like that to young women is embarrassing and he should find a new career. No wonder he only had one server working for him, I could not imagine working for someone like that and will not be giving anymore business to a man like that.

I love this cafe! Their squash soup is the best! And I love that everyone gets their own little teapot with a real teacup & saucer instead of a generic mug. Beautiful, relaxed atmosphere with wonderfully sweet & attentive staff! I’d give this 10 stars !
