Tonight my wife and I went with a group of 14 to eat dinner. I called ahead to alert them of the group size to ensure they could accommodate, which they did. The orders were taken at about 6:15pm for the whole table and all food but two was delivered about 6:45pm. At around 7:10pm and multiple apologies were made by the wait staff. At 7:25pm I advised the waitress that I would not be paying for order and requested the manager.
Chris (the owner) came out about 10 minutes later and had a terrible attitude, advising me that the waitress canceled the order. Chris stated that he had previously told the waitress to relay to me that he already stated to give 50% off of the order which was not relayed to me by the waitress at all.
From this point, he explained that mistakes happen (which I agree) and said something I’ve never heard from a owner, much less an owner.
Chris “if you don’t come back here again, that’s fine”.
He explained that this happens all the time if I ever go out to eat. He then walked away and that was the end of this episode. We’ve went to this location and his BBQ location many times and have never had this type of experience at either facility. We as locals attempt to keep our money in the town, we will not be returning to either place of business again.

We have tried this restaurant multiple times,
hopeful it was just a “bad night”… Apparently not so much, every time we were there something we wanted to order was not available. The food is extremely overpriced for how basic and bland it actually is… And who grills a wrap that has lettuce & tomato inside of it? Thats just GROSS! It is always extremely loud in there and the wait staff is always expressing their personal life problems with the people at that bar, as well as in and out smoking on the front porch while serving tables; EWE! Then the last time we were there one of a server’s children was running around & yelling! The final straw was when we got the bill we discovered we were charged 50cents each for a glass of TAP WATER- really you charge customers for Bogalusa tap water!?? Disappointing & Disgusting!

It wasn’t my kind of surroundings. The food was very good. I had to send mine back bc it was way to pink for me. By the time my burger came back, the people I was with were through eating. So I just got mine to go. They were happy with their food. When I got home and took a bite, it was still too pink.

We eat here weekly and the food and service is always top notch! We have tried everything on the menu many times over and have never found a bad dish. The owner is always out on the floor welcoming guests and conversating, you can tell he loves what he does and it shows!

Well the service is ok. The food is ok. If you like to smell like cigarette smoke when you walk in then this is the place for you. If you want water you get bottled water at$1.50 a bottle and make sure that you check your bill because they will put more on the bill than you recieved. Also if you like sweet tea it’s good but you will be charged $2.29 for each small cup so make sure you empty your cup before asking for more. They were busy with some large groups so service was not as good as you would expect. Maybe due to the crowd? Overall the cigarette smoke coming in the front door and the overall food and service was the reason for the 3 stars
