Fast-food outlet serving up namesake root beer, plus burgers, chicken & fries.

Alright look, this place is bad. A&W isn’t good for much anymore but their root beer freezes are typically out of this world. This location however doesn’t seem to believe there is a difference between a float and a freeze—except of course in price. They’ll charge you more for a freeze but definitely won’t put any extra ice cream in it. We were handed cups that were basically full of super runny root beer and when we went back to let them know we got floats instead of freezes, the manager walked over, took a look and said ‘that is a freeze. They might have been sitting around in here for awhile so maybe that’s why they are so runny.’ A place that is admitting that my food sat around long enough to maybe melt before I got it is a place I don’t want to be eating. Add in a super rude manager who is unwilling to do absolutely anything to have better customer service and I’m actively campaigning against it. Go next door to Arby’s or across the street to zaxby’s. This place is a must skip.

Practically zero cheese on the tiny Chilli cheese dog. The bun was dry and split on the bottom. I was bragging to a friend from Europe and took him there to relive fond childhood memories and was so disappointed that I will NEVER go back to any A&W again. $10 for 4 bites of dry cheesless hotdog and frys with small drink. Cadbury Schweppes ruined all the restaurants they own with corporate greed. The fries were good.

I got their special with the potato poppers and chicken strips. I don’t recommend this menu item. It has made me so sick to my stomach. This is the second time I have gotten flu like symptoms when eating here. Make me a bit hesitant to visit again. Time will tell. Staff was friendly. Chicken and fries too salty and too much black pepper. I am afraid it’s going to be a long uncomfortable night

I got a couple root beers in the drive-thru.
Morgan took my order and was so polite!!
I don’t know if I would go here without a deal. The prices are more akin to what you’d see at a sit-down rather than fast food, but they have pretty good deals you can find that makes it worth it.
The service was great. The sodas had that classic A&W taste with just the right amount of foam. I might have to take them up on their Tuesday meal deal that they have posted. Who doesn’t love fried chicken?

Usually have a good experience here, but they messed up my order and didn’t include a receipt for my order in my bag, so when I got all the way home and noticed my order was wrong, it fell upon me to be inconveniently effected. I had to drive back in only to be denied a refund due to the lack of receipt.

I ordered the 2 piece upgrading one to a breast. The breast was the smallest one I’ve ever had at an A&W and the wing had literally no meat in it. I showed the counter person the wing and was told that’s normal. I explained that I’ve not had one before with no meat on it. Then was told sometimes they’re just small. Sorry but for $8.99, I should get more than breading and bones. Disappointed mostly by the response I got to the situation.

I’m rarely this disappointed in a food experience. Way too expensive for what you get. I paid $42 and it didn’t even fill one tray. The only person in our group that felt like they ate enough was my 98 pound son who ate $13 worth of chicken strips. We had to check our receipt to find that we were missing some food items. They were out of pickles and we ordered food that had pickles when we pointed out that our orders should have had pickles they responded like it was obvious that they wouldn’t have pickles, like there is some sort of pickle shortage. Honestly I was just so surprised at how little food we got for $42. I eat out quite a bit, some cheap places some nice places but what it comes down to is that I can’t afford to eat at KFC. I actually will probably need another dinner tonight, I get fuller on appetizers at other places. The dollar menus at Wendy’s will fill you better than $10 at KFC.

They gave me fries that were soggy and looking sad. I asked for new ones and they said that’s all they had. They offered to give me another side, but nothing really works well while driving (mashed potatoes, coleslaw, Mac & Cheese). They refunded my money but were not apologetic at all. I went to eat my burger but it had cheese when I ordered it without. I went through the drive through again and they replaced it without cheese but again were unapologetic and seemed more put out that I asked they get things right. I don’t think I’ll be going back. Bad experience and not so great food this time. Other times they have been great. Would seem they are not consistent in quality delivered.

Food was good – once we got it. Went through drive thru and line was so long we pulled away after being assured it was all there – and bag was missing items. Came back and waited 28 minutes in line because their lobby was locked and they wouldn’t answer their regular phone or order pick up phone. Main dishes got cold waiting for our sides and biscuits got so hard waiting for butter and honey the kids wouldn’t eat them. Nothing fresh or any type of coupon were offered. Mistakes happen but they need to figure out a way to fix their problems better. Disappointed and frustrated. Staff was friendly tho.

We were traveling so we couldn’t turn around and raise a fuss we ordered 2 hamburgers on with onion one without no big deal got over that however when we opened the wrappers it looked like a crime scene !! I think they are out of mustard and ketchup now because we got it all!! Sad to say because they are a good place but those burger worse burgers I have ever eaten..2 hours later I still can only taste mustard.. Do better for the price guys!
