Came here with the family while on vacation. It was fairly busy and for a party of 6, I expected a wait. However, we were able to get seated immediately. We were promptly greeted by our server and after ordering, the food was out very fast. Needless to say this was a 10 star experience!

We had a wonderful experience at Timberwood Grill! This is our 3rd year going and we’ve made it our tradition to always go when in the area. There was little to no wait, which was such a pleasant surprise for a busy area, and it’s in the perfect location for shopping and exploring before or after dinner.
Everything we ordered came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. My absolute favorite was the bourbon glaze salmon with rice and green beans – perfectly cooked, tender, and the glaze was the pertect balance of sweet and savory. We also tried the fried chicken with white gravy, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw, and it tasted just like true southern comfort food.
The potato skins were crispy and loaded, the mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the ribs were tender and fell right off the bone, and the chicken tenders and fries were perfectly seasoned with great dipping sauces. Even the fish and chips were light, crispy, and flavorful, and the salad was fresh and piled high with cheese and bacon.
The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the whole atmosphere felt warm and inviting – perfect for families, couples, or groups. We left completely satisfied and will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area!

My husband and I came up to the area for our anniversary and my birthday. This restaurant was recommended to us by some locals, who said it was better than Paula Dean’s, and they weren’t lying!!! Everything we had was on point. Very well seasoned, and fresh and hot. We ordered the sampler for an appetizer. For lunch, I had the shrimp bowl, and my husband had the bourbon-glazed salmon. This will definitely be a restaurant we return to when we come back. Our total was a little over $80 (excluding tip).

My family and I (11 people) were on vacation and stopped at Timberwood Grill for dinner after an 11-hour drive, wanting to try something new. We expected a 20–25 minute wait for a group our size, which was understandable, but there was no indoor waiting area to get out of the cold in December, which made the wait uncomfortable.
Once we were seated, appetizers and food initially came out fairly quickly. However, when the main entrées arrived, several dishes were disappointing. The brisket was very dry, the steak was burnt and charred, and the chili was served cold. The salmon that was ordered also gave one of our kids an instant upset and sour stomache
The women’s restroom could also use attention. There were only two stalls, no hot water to wash hands, and overall cleanliness could be improved. The baby changing station was also out of order, which was inconvenient for families.
The service speed was appreciated, but the food quality and facility issues took away from what could have been a better experience. With some improvements, this could be a solid spot, but this visit fell a bit short for us.

We decided to stop by this place while walking around the island area….and noticed a few dishes on the menu that looked good. I ordered the avocado salmon salad (as pictured), but it came without the avocado. Luckily, the salmon was cooked perfectly, so I decided to keep it instead of sending it back. My wife had the burger (pictured too) and really enjoyed it.Service was great, prices were reasonable for what we ordered, and the portions matched the price. We’re just visiting on vacation, but we’d definitely come back and recommend it to others.

After being told it would be a 70+ minute wait anywhere else, my husband, baby, and I walked in to Timberwood. We were able to get seated right away. The atmosphere was nice and matched a forest/woodland/cabin theme. Kid appropriate. I ordered the Twin Forks Kickin Chicken, which was essentially just a chicken fried chicken, which comes with mashed potatoes and choice of one side. The food was pretty good. Nothing over the top amazing, but a decent, solid choice. Much better quality than some other local “touristy” spots. The price was fair at around $20 for the meal. Portion sizes were perhaps below average. Overall I would opt to try more new places given how many restaurant there are here, but would return if there were long waits or inconvenient other options. It’s a safe bet.

Our server was John! Very kind waiter! Very accommodating to any requests we had! Got the pickle chips for appetizer! Didn’t disappoint! I ordered a smothered chicken meal that was so amazing and I’ve never had anything like it before with a side of lemon rice! Fantastic! My husband got a perfect medium rare steak Cole slaw and baked potato! He was supposed to get a few pieces of jumbo shrimp with it but it wasn’t, I’m assuming it was forgotten. But we would eat there again despite that!

Review from the fiancée actually bcus my phone hates me BUT I just wanted to boast about our great dinner experience last night. Our server was Alexxis and she was super friendly and efficient. My plate didn’t have my mashed potatoes on it, and before my plate even touched the table she knew they were missing and went to find them. I don’t know if that’s ever happened to me before, but it was so nice!
