It is one of our favorite places in Ogden. Service is amazing!! Food was really good. We had prime rib and the shrimp. The shrimp was a bit bland but cooked nicely. When we first sat down we felt super rushed by the server. It was a Tuesday night. We got there around 5pm. I know they get super busy but would have appreciated not feeling so rushed by the server.

I absolutely love a restaurant that has amazing food, service and an experience! This restaurant is loaded with historical artifacts and is such a unique dining experience! I had the prime rib and it was delectable along with the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. Also the Lavender Lemon Drop is delightful! Worth the drive!

Gave this place a second chance. Tried the prime rib end piece this time because the first time I ordered a medium rare piece and there was very little flavor and seasoning. This time I chose the end piece because that’s usually where all the seasoning is… and as you can see in the picture, the seasoning was just lacking. They really relied on the au jus, but it didnt help much. My husband ordered a baked potato alone and ensured there was no meat in it (he’s vegetarian) and it came on a plate with au jus. Luckily it was wrapped in aluminum foil. I used one of the napkins to soak up the juice off the aluminum foil. When I asked the waitress what was on the plate, she mentioned it was au jus, I told her that my husband is vegetarian and she just looked at me. I figured it wouldnt be the time to ask for a replacement potato, so I just asked for a juiceless plate, which she brought while looking annoyed. Like we understand that a steakhouse isn’t the place to go for vegetarian options, but we’ve never had this issue at other steakhouse.
Now the only person that brought up the rating was the lady going around taking drink orders. Out of the hosts, waitresses, etc… she was the only person that seemed pleasant

Great service and ambiance. But the food is WAY too expensive for what you get. $98 for my New York cut with 8 pieces of chopped crab. Low class salads that come with meals… look at the pics: bad pieces of chintzy iceberg, croutons not good. A potato and broccoli is cents… yet the price you pay for a dinner, everything should be best of the best!

Timbermine Steakhouse is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, the ambiance wraps you in a warm, rustic embrace that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of cozy and upscale, making it ideal for everything from a romantic date night to a celebratory gathering with friends.
The food? Simply phenomenal. Every dish is crafted with care, showcasing top-quality ingredients and masterful preparation. The steaks are cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The menu offers something for everyone, with sides and appetizers that complement the main courses beautifully. Don’t even get me started on the desserts—they’re the perfect way to cap off an incredible meal!
What truly sets Timbermine apart, though, is the consistently delightful experience. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making your visit special. Every time I dine here, it’s a pleasure from start to finish. Timbermine Steakhouse isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience that keeps me coming back for more. Highly recommend!

Great fun place. Lots to look at and the staff was exceptional. The food is what you would and should expect from a decent steak house. I was surprised how inexpensive it was. To sum up, a great fun place.to go with decent food that won’t destroy your wallet.

The food is really good. The service was even better. The atmosphere is peculiar, to say the least. Like a mix of a haunted house and mini golf. Dim and strange. I would go again for sure, but the atmosphere is absolutely one of a kind. I would say give it a try once. You’ll either become a lifelong fan or won’t go again.

A very unique place. Nothing like I’ve ever seen before. The food was good. I had a 16 oz prime rib, baked potato, salad, blue cheese, and raspberry iced tea. The fresh bread was very soft. The waitress was very nice, knowledgeable, and had a good recommendation. The atmosphere made it feel like I was actually in a mine. A pretty cool place. I liked that the light in each booth was dimmable to your liking.

This is my kind of restaurant! It has a great (and unique) theme, and that theme was pulled off perfectly!
I don’t even know where to begin. Just pulling up to this massive crazy western ghost town saloon looking place made completely out of wood blew my mind. There’s old beat up antique relics sprinkled all over the property, from old farm equipment to a broken down old truck. It faces a beautiful section of the surrounding mountains really giving it that classic high west vibe!
The first room you enter is this thing that I suppose you would call a lobby, but it has two huge fill sized mine carts filled to the top with large rocks. It really feels like you’re entering a mine shaft. The main room with the hostess booth is overflowing with antiques! There are taxidermy animals, creepy dolls and statues, and literally hundreds of other random things covering every square inch of the place.
We had a small wait so I went to the bar in the next room which is so hard to describe. There are multiple stories of shelves with old bottles of medicine and other antiques going all the way to the high ceiling. I got a local beer and we were finally seated in the mine shaft section of the restaurant. For context, there are SO MANY sections to this restaurant! It’s endless!
Now the food. First we ordered cheese curds and fried mushrooms. Both were absolutely fantastic! My salad came out next with home made ranch dressing which was also great. After that was my main course, t-bone steak and broccoli. The tenderloin side of my t-bone was like buttah!!! I didn’t even need my knife! So good! I also ordered an Uncle Nearest Manhattan which was also fantastic.
Our servers were perfect, popping in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. They were super friendly, as was every staff member we encountered.
Timbermine is a legitimate diamond in the coal mine. I would have given it a great review even if the food was average just for the experience, but the food was excellent! I really recommend giving it a try! I can’t imagine many people would leave disappointed.
Pro Tip: Swing by the bar before going to the table and check out what they have on tap. The beer menu was missing a ton of draft beer options.

I want to love this place but have to be honest and say it is not that great anymore. I am curious to know if they use choice, select or prime beef. I ordered a tenderloin and it is the toughest I have ever had. The shrimp cocktail was presented in wooden bowl over ice instead of in a nice cocktail glass. My husband ordered a mixed drink and they did not add the alcohol and had to remake. The decor has character for the most part, but all the artificial trees and plants (dust magnets) really distracted from the log cabin atmosphere. The servers and staff are super friendly and kind.
