We had the Philly cheese steak with onion rings and the Cordon Bleu wrap with fries, with an appetizer of Duck Wontons. All delicious. The duck wontons are worth a try! They are served with a somewhat spicy sweet chili dip that pairs with the creamy wonton perfectly (the pic I posted is when we had already eaten two, you get four wontons). The wait staff was attentive and we highly enjoyed our meal!

Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Tried the salmon chowder and it was delicious. Roger ordered the brunch burger; bacon, hash browns, bacon and an egg on a roasted bun. I had a Shroom and swiss burger; sauteed mushrooms and swiss cheese on a toasted bun. The burgers were ON POINT! Make sure to order their house cut French fries they will not disappoint. We will be back.

Fantastic spot. Loved the bartender. The wings are AMAZING. Best dry rub wings I think I have ever had. Especially recommend the jalapeno ranch on the side. Great atmosphere, family friendly, but also good for tabs and cocktails and a bite to eat. Definitely will be back when I am in the area.

I’ve left great reviews here before but probably won’t ever come back. Waitstaff is prompt and got us drinks and took out order.. I was craving the roast beef sandwich that I loved here before. People that came in after us were getting their food when we asked the waitress if there was delay. She said they were out of roast beef and out our order was put down by the cook and didn’t tell the wait staff. A half hour from when we first got there we ordered again. 30 minutes later, still no food.. We paid $5.35 for our sweet tea and left. The cook was overheard ranting. I don’t know if the cook is related to ownership or if finding good help is that challenging. As much as we prefer to support local businesses, we’ll drive farther next time.

On a beautiful Sunny Day before a snow storm there was a lot of people at the restaurant. I noticed all tables were full of people except one booth and a small table. We saw 3 booths and one table leave because they were not getting served. There was only one wait staff working the restaurant and the bar. She let us know she called for more wait staff to come in. She did a good job on her own. When the other staff arrived she quickly started taking orders. Then the kitchen was not able to keep up.
When the food arrived it was very good. We were told by the booth next to us that this is unusual for the wait and the service has been great. We went here because of the reviews. We will give them another try when we go through the town.

Had never visited this establishment before.. ended up dining here as the establishment we intended to visit was closed. I don’t leave reviews but the service we had while having dinner and Candy being our server was above and beyond… we then stayed for an after dinner drink to visit with our kids. Hands down the best service I’ve ever had anywhere! Treated us as we were regulars or had visited before. Gave us the same attention she was giving others… really made us feel welcome and got to know us a bit. I work in the same industry and am usually hard to impress. Please give Candy and thank you from myself and husband.. son and pregnant girlfriend. Exceptional service!!!

Very nice restaurant. Food is fantastic, ample servings and priced just right. Service is great. Our waitress kept checking in on how we were doing. The food is homemade. The fries are so good !! Very hard to choose what you want from the menu. I would totally recommend this restaurant to eat at.

Even though it’s a 14 mile drive the TVG has become our “go to” restaurant. The food is fantastic and the service even better. The walleye dinner they serve on Friday and Saturday night is incredible. We’ve gone for lunch and dinner a number of times and have never been disappointed. Or left hungry. Very ample servings and reasonably priced. Also a large alcohol selection. Be it beer, wine or the stronger spirits, whatever your favorite is, odds are they serve it. They also serve breakfast in the morning and though I’ve not been there for breakfast (I’m not a morning person) I have no doubts that it’s good also.
