I stopped by Tim Tim’s Halal Grill in Chicago and had a great experience. I ordered the tacos and the gym shoe sandwich, and both were packed with flavor and made fresh to order. The tacos were loaded, well seasoned, and had the perfect balance of meat, toppings, and sauce. Every bite was satisfying and you could tell they use quality ingredients.
The gym shoe sandwich was also excellent. It was filling, flavorful, and stacked with generous portions of meat and toppings. Everything worked well together and it was cooked perfectly. It is definitely a must try if you are visiting Tim Tim’s.
The service was friendly and efficient, and the food came out fresh and hot. The portions were generous and the value for the price was great. Overall, Tim Tim’s Halal Grill is a solid halal spot in Chicago and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for flavorful tacos, great sandwiches, and satisfying halal food. I will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for amazing food, Tim Tim’s is the place to be! Their gyros are absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned and always fresh. I also can’t get enough of their tacos, which are full of flavor and never disappoint. And don’t forget the Caesar salad—it’s one of the best I’ve had, with just the right amount of dressing and crisp greens.
What really made my last visit special was the beautiful flower they made for me with my taco order—it was such a nice touch!
This place is definitely a gem—great food, fantastic service, and thoughtful details. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience – I have been wanting to get a meal here for a couple years and finally made it. Walked in, it smelled incredible. On a Wednesday afternoon there were a few people inside and I got the sense there were some regulars. One guy having a taco plate gave us some advice on ordering. We ordered a few things to go and it was pretty quick to come out. Staff were super cool.
This was my first meal in the US after traveling abroad for over a year, and it delivered on every craving I had been unable to satiate during that time.
I loved the Italian beef – I asked it to be not dipped but wet and it was perfect, not too soggy. The roast beef was fantastic, i might just ask for extra giardinera next time. I also got a chili cheese dog which was delicious. My friends enjoyed the Tim Tim burger and the chicken tenders, and we all liked the cheese fries.
I will probably be back Friday after praying down the street.

Omg one of the best tacos in the area. This place is a must try!!!!! Came here on lunch hour from my job decided to gave it a taste since it has good reviews and let me tell you the tacos are amazing. But the main thing the gyro fries one of the best things i’ve had tries since so long. Will be back when i’m nearby hope they can have multiple locations cse its really good

For the price point this is a very decent spot. Has everything you need and the tastes were pretty good. They were also one of the o my spots in Chicago open a little later. HMS certified so eat without worry. Had a few sandwiches and their burger everything was decent and hit the spot.

My Wife and I were blown away at how tasty the food was. Everything was very flavorful and well seasoned. And the prices were great for the portion sizes which were generous. My Fire Burger especially was a good full sized burger. And best of all everything was halal.
Everyone working here was very polite and accommodating. They let us go into the back to wash our hands before we ate.
The inside seating is very limited since this is a very small place. They did have an outside seating area so in the summer time there is more seating. They had an extensive menu including delicious Mexican food.
