Good burgers, not greasy and not dry with ample fixings provided. The bacon on the burgers was thick and perfectly cooked, a rare find. The guys on the grill were friendly. Fried pickles are spears rather than chips and the breading on them is heavy with little flavor.
All in all I’d definitely recommend over the fast food joints around it or the pizza & burger place next door to it. Will be visiting again.

Great food, friendly staff, clean restaurant.
I once came in right before they closed, thinking they stayed open later. The cook made me a burger like two mins before close, even though I was trying to talk him out of it because I felt bad coming in at close. Not only that but he was happy to do so.

Excellent tenderloins and fries are homemade! Very good food and a very friendly staff. Would be nice to have the phone number on this site. We like to call ahead for carry out but don’t have phone number.

Arguably the best burger served in Ottumwa, with a wide variety of ways to make it for you. They keep it clean and friendly too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re hungering for a burger.

3 of us dined here and all got different burgers which were great – Chuck Norris, Joe burger and mushroom n Swiss. The problem was the sides. The fried pickles and cheese balls were inedible because of the breading. It was tough and tasted like flour.
