I went through the drive-thru this morning and had a very disappointing experience. When I received my order, I noticed the donuts were placed in a bag. In the past, they were always packed in a box, so I didn’t realize I needed to specifically request one. I politely asked if I could have a box instead.
The older woman working the window was very nasty about it. She told me she had already put them in a bag and refused to take them out. I even offered to put them in a box myself or purchase a box separately, and she still said no. There was no attempt to be understanding or helpful—just unnecessary attitude.
My son has special needs and will only eat his donut if it’s in a box, so this wasn’t just a preference. A small accommodation would have made a big difference.
In the end, she still had to take them out of the bag anyway because I chose not to accept the order and drove 15 minutes to take my business elsewhere. Customer service and basic kindness go a long way, and unfortunately that was completely lacking during this visit.

Update another after dealing with the Manager that is absolutely not worth it. Believe her staff don’t make errors or argues even tho you have proof. Wish thr owner of the store would run test on his store because seems like the downtown don’t care if they make orders correctly. It’s shut up take this we made you even if not right. When will the Owner see the Manager treats their customers like trash.

Order… plain bagel double toasted with extra butter. I always receive light toasted light butter. I order it this way to make sure I get my stuff normal. My question is my coffee correct?

Easily the worst service I’ve ever experienced from any fast food location period. I went in to get drinks for a few friends and myself, I have the gift card loaded on the app and the scan and pay turned on. The counter person I talked to initially was helpful and polite and told me that they didn’t know the answer to the questions I was asking and asked if I wanted the manager to have them help.
I agree and the manager comes and instead of working with me or explaining anything, they kept saying that it wasn’t a gift card and that it wasn’t scan and pay when the app was very clearly showing that I was on the scan and pay and that the gift card was set as the payment method. They kept saying I didn’t understand, so instead of calmly and politely explaining they just kept regurgitating the same words, that my gift card isn’t a gift card. Not that they don’t accept it at that location, not trying to help me get to the correct page on the app to use the gift card, just that it wasn’t a gift card.
I can understand if that location doesn’t accept the scan and pay, but to be told my gift card isn’t a gift card and that the scan and pay isn’t scan and pay just to follow up with they don’t know how the app works because they don’t use it themselves is concerning.
If you don’t have information don’t pretend that you do and make your customer out to be stupid and just say you don’t know or that it isn’t accepted at your location.

I had a disappointing experience at this Tim Hortons location. The drive-thru attendant was very short and dismissive, repeatedly interrupting me with “Anything else?” before I could finish placing my order. When I reached the window, my coffee was made incorrectly. I politely explained that I had requested almond milk as my cream since I’m lactose intolerant, but instead of resolving the issue, the staff argued with me and insisted I hadn’t said that. Thankfully, another employee stepped in and remade the drink, but it still tasted off, almost as if the ingredients were expired. Additionally, this location frequently claims to be out of certain items, particularly steak and chicken, regardless of the time or day. It was a Monday when I visited, so it seemed unlikely that they would already be out of stock. Overall, this experience left a poor impression. The customer service, product quality, and consistency at this location could use significant improvement. More so the customer service and very rude drive through attendant.

2-3 times a week I visit This location. Every time prior to this I remember that the older manager lady gets hostile if you don’t ask for sleeves when you order. Anyone else and I have to ask once again when I get to the window. This time she once again got nasty when asked at the window. When I tried to explain it was my mistake, she raised her voice and talked over me loudly saying “YA,YA,YA,YA” to drown my voice out until I was done speaking. Today is my 50th birthday and my first human interaction of the day was with lady who frequently takes out her frustrations on customers. She’s well known. I’ve seen videos on Facebook of her throwing temper tantrums, and generally just being rude. Thanks for starting my birthday out right Timmy. I will be contacting the guest care team and posting this in the neighborhood Facebook group.

Manager was very rude when I asked for plain chocolate bits, sad they didn’t have them. Then I asked for a plain chocolate cake donut. Then she yelled I ALREADY TOLD YOU WE DON’T HAVE IT. Kids were in there getting ready for downtown trick or treating so I respectfully did not speak my mind. We will not be back because this is not the first time she has yelled at me
