I had a tuna sandwich and coffee. The bread was fresh but a little hard. The place was clean, and the music wasn’t too loud. However, when I placed my order, the lady named J. laughed at me, as if I was supposed to already know what was on their menu. It felt like she was trying to embarrass me. Fortunately, she was working alongside a customer-focused lady who quickly stepped in to clarify my request.

One of my favorite all time chain donuts is the maple stuffed donut from Timmy Ho’s. I have had…a lot…I mean a lot of donuts in my life and this is firmly like top 3 from a chain. When I found out that I could grab some while watching some hockey at the PPL center it was an absolute game changer for me. I eventually found out that (especially in the morning call club) the PPL center has some other very good food too, but I always come back to Timmy for my fix. I can’t say much for the ambiance here because I have never actually used the outside door and come during normal hours. I have had stuff here 4 times now and each time was during a hockey game so naturally the lines are long and they’re running around like crazy in the back. They are definitely at least still friendly while trying to keep up with the masses.

I went here a few times the first time I went I had a great experience , the person at the register was very friendly (I don’t know his name but he has dark hair & glasses) & even offered me a discount for working in the area & made my iced cappuccino just how I like it. However the past 3 times I went I did not like the service 1 bit , I went today 11/18/25 the two girls in the front were not welcoming it was as if they think I don’t belong or as if they didn’t want to service me …. I asked for an Oreo iced cappuccino & they told me they had no peppermint or Oreo while I was looking at both the peppermint & Oreo pieces on top of the machine … then they make my drink let it sit there for a sec walk around get whipped cream that the bag wasn’t piped right instead of paying attention they just put the bad whipped cream & scooped it off with a spoon never informed me either also didn’t add any Oreos to the top either. I also went one time as well got a dozen of donuts the manger tells the same girl from today with the dark hair & no hospitality for certain individuals was told by the manager to get the dozen of donuts didn’t even ask which ones I would like BUT got a lil irritated when I didn’t want a certain donut & asked for a different one … they need to be a little more lenient because even the manager don’t take things serious …. They don’t take anything serious in this place & don’t make certain people that don’t come on the regular feel welcomed. DO BETTER !!!!!

Tim Hortons is the ultimate money saver when you’re at an event at the PPL center.
They have hot food, sweets, coffee/tea/fountain drinks.
For a hockey game we all get a chili and drink. It’s a HUGE difference in $$ than getting food in the arena.
The quality is good. The chili is obviously mass produced and in a bag before serving, but it’s a hockey game not a 5 star restaurant.
Staff is friendly but seem overwhelmed or understaffed. Line moves quickly.
Clean and easily accessible from inside the PPL center.

Great service, was a little noisy because of the rush of people this morning and the employee working with me handled it really well considering how fast everything was going. Grabbed a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit, strawberrry frosted donut, and a caramel capp w/ 2 shots. Food was great and was done within less than 10 minutes. First and definitely not the last time I’ll visit. Wish they were open later!

Visited you shop inside the phantoms area literally 5 min ago. Asked for a vanilla cup in the helmet. Was asked if I wanted toppings. I said just the chocolate syrup and whip cream. The girl at the counter said it was all or nothing. I told her I didn’t want the sprinkles. I cant eat them. So she said it’s all or nothing cause it’s to difficult to look at the receipt when she has a line of customers to figure out what customer gets what. So I left with nothing. I can’t eat the sprinkles because they get under my dentures and cause a lot of pain. So I had to chose between being in pain or no ice cream today. Will never go back and will tell everyone I know. Bad business. Also my sons girlfriend was with me she ordered and had her ice cream handed to her while she paid. So don’t know why mine couldn’t have been done the same.

If I can give this place a zero star review I would. The service was garbage and the people didnt know how to take a simple order. The person the took our order Neisha was completely rude and disorganized. If this is how Tim Horton like to treat there costumers then trust me, I’m never eating in any of the Tim Hortons chains. I’m completely disappointed by there lack of service and disorganization

EXCELLENT food and reasonably priced! If you’re staying at the Renaissance, don’t bother with breakfast in the hotel! Go downstairs and get delicious coffee, eggs/bagels, pastries for a fraction of the price! Plus, the food and coffee will be hot!
