The Washington St Tim Hortons is one of those places that reminds you how this chain is supposed to work. Service is quick, staff are friendly, and you’re in and out without aging a full year in the drive-thru.
Now, full transparency: every once in a while the Timbits taste like they’ve seen some things. Not always. Not even most of the time. Just often enough to keep you guessing.
That said, even on a slightly stale Timbit day, this location still runs absolute circles around the Brooklyn Square flagship. Faster, nicer, and somehow more functional which is impressive considering it’s not pretending to be the crown jewel of the area.
Fix the occasional Timbit situation and this place would be unstoppable.

My husband treated me to my usual order this morning. When he brought it to me it was already to late to have it corrected- but tell me how if you order a med ice coffee (1 cream. 2 sugars) the entire “coffee” is getting served to me almost paper white in color? It tasted like disgusting stale spoiled milk in a cup with 1 shot of coffee. The price you pay for this stuff and to be served garbage you cant consume is a bit irritating

See attached photo. I don’t know why I bothered with this place again. They mess it up literally every single time and it’s ridiculous. Now I have to drive back and get a refund. Absolutely the worst Tim Hortons I have ever been to. They haven’t gotten our orders right a single time out of 5 tries now. We wanted to give it a chance since it’s close but it isn’t worth getting the wrong food then getting attitude when you ask for your correct order. I got the sandwiches for picky eaters and now I have to waste 20 minutes driving back and getting a refund. It’s been this way since they opened. How is that possible?
Edit – I stupidly gave them another chance. Once again got the exact opposite of what I ordered. I don’t know why I attempted to go there again. We have gone there 6 times now because I pass by it every day and every single time the order is completely wrong. I asked for timbits with no chocolate and get mostly chocolate timbits. I feel silly for even caring but it’s not what I what ordered. My neighbor received the wrong order from them yesterday as well. I don’t understand it. It’s my fault for not checking before I drove off but I don’t want to hold up the line. Tim Hortons has dropped in quality overall so I’m not sure why I waste my money there.

Got breakfast: the sandwich was perfect, the hash brown was good, but the latte was horrible.
I ordered a medium gingerbread oat milk latte with one shot of espresso. The drink I got was barely warmer than room temperature, and only half way full, with a quarter of that being foam, no syrup, and what looked like cows milk instead of oat milk due to the foaminess- I honestly think whoever was on the drink bar at that time gave me steamed milk leftover in a pitcher they had lying around from another person’s order ☹️
After I ate my food and discovered how horrible the latte was I went up to the counter to ask for it to be remade, which was possible because I ate in.
The person who remade it for me, (wish I’d gotten their name), did a great job!
The latte was hot, I could smell the syrup in it, and there was enough milk in the cup that when I picked it up a little spilled out of the lid.
I really appreciate that second person taking the time to make my drink correctly!

They repeatedly have given me coffee with no sugar, coffee not stirred, every time I have ordered food they have made it wrong or given me something I didn’t order. I keep going back for some hope that maybe one day they will do their job right, but this morning was the last straw. I will NEVER do business with this Tim Hortons again.

They operate/work too slow here. Especially with 3+ employees on duty.
Order walk up to window pick ups are the worst, they have you standing out in the cold-rain-snow for up to ten minutes.
Inventory is low,
(not a big selection) they barely have any doughnuts.
