The food was absolutely delicious. I was especially impressed by the Baked BBQ Bun; the crust was perfectly crispy, and the filling was well-seasoned and flavorful without being overwhelming. I also really enjoyed the siu mai, which tasted fresh and authentic.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience even better. I’d definitely come back and recommend this place to others

Obsessed with this dim sum spot ✨!!! We come here for both lunch and dinner, and it hits every single time. Truly one of those places that never misses. I also love supporting all of their locations, nothing but good vibes all around.
The har gow is a forever fave, the shrimp balls are a must (and do not forget the chili oil ). The sake-tinis have my whole soul here, especially the lychee one . And if soup dumplings are on special… RUN. They are so dang good. I love that they do seasonal chef specials.
Also… I’m convinced they have the best chili dumplings around. Perfect size, perfect flavor, absolute perfection. Do yourself a favor and support this amazing space, you’ll leave happy and full every time!

First round had the Wontons in Hot & Spicy Sauce which was alright, as well as the Steamed Rice with Minced Beef and Egg which I also thought was alright.
Second round got the Pan Fried Noodles with BBQ Pork which I thought had great flavor but was a bit dry. Adding some chili sauce made it better. Then also tried the Baked BBQ Pork Buns which were really really good: soft, crispy, sweet, savory. Amazing!
For dessert the Sweet Osmanthus Jelly was just not for me, but the Lava Custard Sesame Balls were increeeedible.

Tim Ho Wan has become one of my family and I’s favorite dim sum places to stop by when we’re in Houston. Their dishes are less oily than the average dim sum places. Overall super light and delicious. You can’t go wrong with any of their shrimp dishes – super sweet and savory. The portions are decent. Most dishes come with enough to split 1 piece per person for 3-4 persons.
My all-time favorites are the steamed pork dumplings with shrimp, steamed rice rolls with shrimp, blanched lettuce, and lava custard sesame balls!

We came for an early lunch right when they opened so the service was quick and efficient. The server was attentive and checked on us several times. We enjoyed all the dishes that were ordered. Not too salty or greasy like other dim sum joints and light enough to grab bubble tea afterwards!

Went on Saturday night, and had a wonderful meal! Service was fantastic, and the food was even better. Definitely do not skip on the baked pork buns! It has a sweet crust on top sort of like a concha and it’s absolutely heavenly. The soup dumplings were a delight, and the cocktails were a pleasant surprise as well.

Just wow! The BBQ pork bun is a must-try. It’s a HK-style pineapple bun filled with the most tender char siu. I’m definitely coming back just for that. I can see how the original THW got a Michelin star.

Food was above average dim sum. I can see that they are trying make the dishes standout from other dim sum restaurants by playing with ingredients and flavors. My favorite dish would have to be the salted egg lava buns. Salted egg is an acquired taste so take the review with that in mind. Overall I would come back if I was in the area. I do prefer Dim Sum Box close by

We’re regular customers of this restaurant. We’re from Austin and have stopped by to eat here more than four times already. This time, we were very lucky to meet Pong, the staff member who took care of us. He explained the menu patiently, was cheerful, and provided excellent service. We’ll definitely come back again and recommend this place to our friends not only for the delicious food, but also for the great service we received from Pong too.
