EDIT: Got a response from them below. This WAS the LUNCH price!

The food was ok but for $30 and this child’s sample of fried rice (which they have the AUDACITY to charge extra for) is ridiculous! I know I got the food to-go but more rice should have been given. The people were nice on the phone (only reason for 2 stars for service). The place seems nice away from the crowds with plenty of parking.

Finding gluten-free Japanese food can feel almost impossible, which makes this place such a standout. They offer genuine gluten-free options, and the dishes are surprisingly flavorful nothing feels like a compromise. Just make sure to let your server know about your allergy so they can guide you and prepare everything safely. The gluten-free meal I had was absolutely delicious, and my family loved the sushi as well. It’s a fantastic spot if you’re looking for a Japanese steakhouse that actually understands dietary needs while still delivering great taste.

I just had the worst seafood in my life at Taki. I wanted to eat healthy so rather than ordering hibachi, I ordered a seafood dish of shrimp, scallops and lobster on a bed of spinach off the kitchen menu. When it came, it looked good and everything was in a sea of what I thought was broth. So, asked for a spoon to eat the broth. But it was all oil. Disgusting oil. More than an inch of it. Removed all the seafood from the plate into another plate, and then the spinach and tried to squeeze the oil out of it and eat it, but I just couldn’t. Asked the waiter to bring me a plate of spinach on the side with no oil. The waiter claimed it was butter, but I know they don’t use real butter. More like margarine. The whole thing was just disgusting. Whoever in the kitchen thought that is an edible dish should not be cooking any longer. See the photo. And as soon as you are done eating, they bring the check and then if you sit for a minute to talk they ask you to leave.

Food was phenomenal. Best Hibachi food I’ve had in a while..The chef i had needs a raise. He cooked to perfection. Main things I didn’t like was the watered down sake they served me and added automatic gratuity to the bill without advertising they do so. Didn’t leave a tip because of that. Only tipped the cook personally in cash. I don’t like restaurants that secretly charge without notice. It was only me and my girl. The service wasn’t even worth 18%.

This place was absolutely AMAZING! Best japanese food I’ve ever had. I am from Savannah so when we came out to Atlanta for a quick vacay we decided to try this place. The super crunchy roll was SO GOOD. The best roll I have ever had. The shrimp and filet mignon were also delicious! This place was so good we came back the second day to eat dinner here again. I will always eat here whenever I am in the Atlanta area!

Yummy food you’d expect from hibachi. We got seated right away and didn’t take too long to get our food. Spring rolls were very warm and freshly done, and sushi was pretty nice as well. Friends had hibachi and I heard no complaints, in fact the plates were licked clean!

I met up with some old co-worker friends at this restaurant which is around the corner from our former job. It was a Saturday but the vibe was super chill and laid back.

We came here for Hibachi. Now I have only had Hibachi one time so I did and didn’t know what to expect. We were seated at the table with two other dudes. That was fine. They had their space and we had ours. We were all cordial.

We ordered drinks. I don’t remember the name but it was good and packed a punch. As I was talking I noticed I was giggling. Yep the drink. (smile). Next we were served soup and salad and I also ordered an appetizer Bang Bang Shrimp. So far everything was good.

Finally the chef came and started cleaning the grill with flames going. Let me tell you, you can feel the heat. I ordered mine with steak, shrimp and chicken with extra onion and vegetables. Whew child loaded our plates up with food. Delicious and piping hot. I was full after a few bites. We had more than enough to take home. We giggled and laughed some more until we finally got up to leave. This restaurant is so chill. Nobody harassing you. Will definitely return.

We came in for lunch right as they opened. Very friendly staff, from greater to servers. We had calamari appetizer and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and seemed fresh. Then my wife had the angel roll (best of what we ordered) and o had the American dream and spicy salmon. The dream was ok but not great and I’ll skip spicy salmon next time. Overall everything seemed very fresh and tasted great.

I visited this restaurant for my birthday, hoping to have a nice experience since I used to come here years ago.

Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Our waitress seemed upset after getting our order wrong, and instead of just apologizing, she became defensive and even a bit hostile. I found it odd that she perhaps assumed we were trying to avoid paying for what we had actually ordered (double meat) as when we had only pointed out the mistake on her end. No big deal for us but her combativeness was unnecessary especially as both of us had clearly ordered the same drink and meal, so it was frustrating to be told otherwise. While the food itself was decent, I’ve definitely had better here in the past.

Sadly, the atmosphere and service have declined as not even a small acknowledgment that it was my birthday.

Overall, it just wasn’t the experience I’d hoped for. =(
