Great service and the food was the best in town. The biscuits and gravy to die for the Smokey bacon yum and those hash browns crispy.

this is a delightful little stop from the outside. It doesn’t look like much other than Was established in 1977. Wow the food was absolutely wonderful. I had a mushroom Swiss burger and my husband had a patty melt. We love them both but what I loved most were the friendly owners that I talked to while I was there. This is a little American mom and Pop shop. That is just delightful. Even more delightful was the cute little waitress that helped with our order thank you For everything! I would have taken a picture of the food, but we ate it so fast I forgot to.

Yes this is the old Hill Top restaurant, it’s not flashy but the new owners took over in Jan 2025. Most people don’t know it is rebranded and reopened. Ken and Sue Newland are the new owners. They are warm and inviting, if you show up last minute they will greet you with a smile and pull up a chair and I was reminded on my visit of old fashioned friend’s that are always looking forward to seeing you. The place itself is dated but it is a oasis that sits in the heart of Lakeville Indiana. My server was Gretchen from the servers to the owners this little gem screams small town family restaurant, when you walk in you know immediately you are welcome wanted and important. We enjoyed a good meal for 2 for less than 20 bucks, and if you travel through Lakeville make sure you check for the open sign stop in, shrug off the day get a good cup of coffee, and relax.

An amazing little gem in a small town. We went for breakfast with a larger group. The breakfast was very good, I had the meat lovers skillet and my wife had the pioneer. Both were filled and they did not skim on the good stuff.
Definitely worth the drive or detour

What a fantastic addition to Lakeville! This charming little restaurant fills a much-needed space in the area. I loved that the entire menu is available all day, making it easy to satisfy any craving. The chicken tenders were impressively large, and the burger was bursting with flavor. I also enjoyed the waffles and pancakes, both were delicious!

Our waitress, Paige, provided exceptional service; she was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, which enhanced our dining experience. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

While Hilltop had its loyal fans, I found it a bit too greasy for my taste. This new spot is definitely a breath of fresh air! I’d critique needing some atmosphere additions to change it up a bit.

(1 adult, 2 teens, 1 kid $50 and we were satisfied)

So expensive for low quality food. Waitress was so sweet and kind but that is the only good thing to be said about our experience. Will not be going back.
