Two for two days — last night and today (yes, it’s that good)! — of 10 out of 10 great food and atmosphere. Last night was pizza (though their fish fry also looks amazing!) and today a scrumptious prime rib sammich on the patio, basking in the glorious Northwoods outdoors open air. Shoutout to our phenomenal servers Brenda and Kaylan for great, super attentive service, made particularly impressive given the packed crowd! We’ll be back, again and again!

The Tilted Loon Saloon is a staple for us when we day trip to Tomahawk. The food is great, and the drinks are even better. Service is always great, even when it’s packed. The views from the deck are gorgeous and relaxing. Great place to grab a drink and some wings and watch the Packers.

Prime rib sandwich was awesome. We were there in early afternoon, music was just to loud, seemed like it was playing for a bar crowd. Not afternoon lunch.
The Saturday afternoon bartender is worst, runs around like she’s busy with a half full bar and a half full restaurant and can never make a drink. You have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for a drink.

Randomly googled a lunch spot on our drive home and found this gem. It did not disappoint! Jamie the bartender was phenomenal and attentive despite being extremely busy. The burger and tuna sandwich were fabulous as well as the fries! It was well prepared and impressive/upscale from your typical bar cuisine. Will definitely be back when in the area.

We stumbled across this place during a spur of the moment weekend up north and it was exactly what we needed! We had a great fish fry (tried the beer-battered haddock and the walleye special) also enjoyed some beef-tallow fries! We were acknowledged/seated immediately and service was great. Prices were very reasonable and vibe is just what you’re looking for. In summer this place is probably packed—there’s a great view of the lake!

I was cycling Bearskin Trail, which passes right across the street and stopped here for lunch. It was perfect. While I waited a few minutes for the lunch shift to start, I saw their back deck and waterfront garden, which is gorgeous!
I had the cheese curds – best ones I’ve tried yet, a local craft root beer, and their namesake burger. The ladies at the bar were super friendly, and many locals had started filling it up within the hour – I know why. It was great value for the price. I would dine here again in a heartbeat!!

Flat fries fried in beef tallow!!! Tilted Burger was perfection We went right at opening on a Saturday and the place filled up really quickly. I like their specialty sauce, it has horseradish in it.

Nicer bar and grill with lots of seating and large bar. Clean place with good American food options. We ordered an appetizer, which had large portions, and nearby people enjoyed their oversized salads. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Would definitely stop again.

Oh this place is a Gem!. Best fish fry we have ever had in WI. The view off the lake is amazing. Seating inside and out. Building and ground well maintained. Competent staff. A must see.
