This pizza literally changed my attitude.
So I am in town at the Mayo Clinic and like many people are not having a great time of it. The Mayo Clinic is one of the best hospitals in the world and many come here because they have serious problems. This can lead to some awful nights in hotel rooms wallowing in the worries of the day. This is where I found myself. I was not having a good day and just needed to put food in me.
I didn’t even want to leave the hotel and just ordered pizza from the closest place. It arrived from door dash in twenty minutes or so and I begrudgingly got off the chair in the room where I was in a pretty foul mood.
In a matter of a few bites this changed though. The flavors of this porky pine (plus basil) were outstanding but the star of the show has to be the secret of whatever they do with their dough. The crisp is light but firm enough to hold the crust in shape but as soon as you break through that there is a chew that I think rivals some of the best crusts I’ve had anywhere in the country.
I actually had to call them and thank them for changing my outlook on the night. I couldn’t help it.
The next day I had more exhausting tests with cameras in unpleasant places and people telling me awful truths and potentials but almost all of my downtime during the day I contemplated what I would have on tonight’s pizza when I actually went there in person.
I left my hotel to go out and deliberately go someplace to eat rather than just whatever is in the way for the first time this time here and sat down at this lively, open-kitchen concept and was greeted by wonderful people.
Tonight I had the Rocco, prosciutto, basil, cracked black with red sauce and was not disappointed by my second visit, proving it wasn’t a fluke.
I would suggest this place to anyone that needs a little attitude adjustment.
Megan was my server and she was attentive and had a great attitude.
Pizza will not solve the problems I am having but it can make you happier and can distract you from things when it is this dang good.

Tilda’s is truly a hidden gem in Rochester — an absolute must-visit. The wood-fired pizzas are outstanding, whether you’re dining in or grabbing carryout. Do yourself a favor and get your hands on one.
I tried the Bongo, and it’s a must-order. Every bite was incredible. We started with a side Caesar salad that was fresh, crisp, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. My son tried the Daddy-O with a drizzle of balsamic- a game changer!
The atmosphere is cozy and warm, making it the kind of place you want to linger. On top of that, the service is top-notch — welcoming, attentive, and genuinely great. Tilda’s delivers on every level. Can’t wait to go back!

This could be a relaxed location to enjoy a pizza accompanied by a few drink. To eat I had a basic cheese pizza with additional jalapeños and pineapple. The taste was good more or less. I was missing a bit more spices like salt and unfortunately the crust was not crispy, but floppy and could have been a bit longer in the oven. But the salad they served me was good. The waitress responsible for me was a bit stressed in my opinion even though they didn’t have too many other guests at this time of the day. They had even a robot that brought the food to the table, which was a nice gimmick.

Ba-Da-Bing pizza is supposed to have Genoa salami on it. Not a bit on my take-out order. Big omission bordering on rip off. Great service. Nice atmosphere. Good beers. What food you get tastes great. But this was a big disappointment.

Pizza crust is a nice middle ground between a thick hand tossed and a thin crust. Good flavor and generous toppings. I was there on a quiet night so it was exactly the right atmosphere for me… can’t speak to when it’s hopping.

I am visiting here in Rochester to go to the clinic. I am in a hotel nearby. The restaurant I order a pizza and pasta and salad to be delivered which would be considered a pretty pricey. I received a very cold pizza. I called the restaurant immediately and was told by management they’re not responsible. Delivery from DoorDash ordered on company website. I’m not understanding. I have no phone number for DoorDash the number that was texted to me is not operating. It just hangs up when I call them and so now I’m stuck with a cold pizza no offer of real apology or discount even so that’s why they’re getting a two star for the food and a two star for the service because they could’ve resolved the issue with a real apology and a refund of some sort. Order 12/15/25 #39 6:52pm delivery 7:12pm.

Tilda’s has a warm and modern welcoming feel upon entering. We were sat at a booth near the wood burning fire. Which was a perfect spot. I brought my 10 year old to dinner. We enjoyed started off with a tildas salad, mustard vinegerate was delightful. We also ordered and enjoyed a Rocco pizza and another & one with Jalapeños and a blackberry jam, that was delicious. Service was amazing

Nice place. Very nice staff. We ordered a pizza to go and sat down at the bar for a beer. Had the first drink off my furious and the bartender said our pizza would be done in a minute. Didn’t realize the wood fired oven made pizza that fast. Down the hatch, girlfriend drove back to the hotel. Really good pizza, very friendly staff, can’t go wrong here.
