Order before sitting down is always a turn-off, but we wanted to give them a try. Service is minimal since it is all done at the counter.
The atmosphere is very pleasant. It promotes friendliness. And it’s extremely clean.

I have been to Tikka Shack before when I worked closer to the area. They have consistently delicious tikka masala and curry. This was the first time I tried their tandoori chicken pizza and masala fries, and I have to say they’re my new favorites! The masala fries were seriously addicting, even though I don’t usually enjoy loaded fries. Everything is so full of flavor.

The service is excellent, given that there are not really any waitstaff. You order at the counter and your food is brought to your table when ready, served in disposable plates. Fetch your own silverware, etc. Clean your own table.
The portions, as is often the case at Indian restaurants, are not large and the pricing is typically not-very-low. Coupled with the general inflation of recent years, you might have a slight case of sticker shock.
I ordered vindaloo, usually the most intense flavoring, but didn’t specify a “heat” level. The first bite was tangy but by no means hot. I was acclimated by the second mouthful and the underlying flavors came thru. Tasty but not exceptional.
The “Shack naan” was good. I’ve never had cheese on my naan and, while unusual, it was a good combination.
The restaurant was clean and well-maintained.

Grabbed a pizza and some curry chicken after playing 2 hours of pickup soccer. The food was delicious and fresh. We did takeout and it was ready exactly when it was supposed to be. I will definitely be back!

Good authentic Indian food for a very reasonable price, $15 or so for a full meal, come on Tikka Tuesday! You get a meal, a drink and a naan bread for base price $11.
The southern curry is fairly spicy and the hot and extra hot versions should be cautioned if you can’t handle spice! Butter chicken should be taken hot to not have it be incredibly mild in flavour.
Service is usually good. Treat it like fast food Indian, so don’t come in expecting top service or atmosphere

We did a quick yelp search and found this place during our PA trip. Based on the reviews for the Indian restaurants in the area, decided to give this a try. Clean and modern looking restaurant. Dine in or take out options available. Order at the register just inside the entry way, then find a table and wait for the food to be served.
The restaurant was so free on a Friday evening. Felt overly hyped and outlandishly pricey with small portions. Not the best of places, they have some fancy menu but not much of flavor. I’m a bit torn about this place, not what I was expecting after reading the reviews.
For the price payed, expected large portions and little bit of flavor. The service was underwhelming and we were disappointed. Not an option for a quick meal, they take forever. Good parking space and stroller accessible

Honestly this is the fast food equivalent of Indian cuisine. It’s about as whitewashed as Indian food gets. If you are new to Indian food then this is the best place to get started, but for people who want more authentic Indian food drive over to banana leaf.
