Stopped into Tiki Taco in Shawnee on a Friday night. Hadn’t really been in Shawnee on a weekend night, but downtown Shawnee was surprisingly busy with bars and restaurants. Pretty cool.
Vibe was great at Tiki Taco from the outset. The neon decor on the outside was eye catching and the garage door opening to the outdoor patio gave it a real social feel. Particularly with the good tunes they had playing. The interior of the place maintained the outside vibe with the tile/lighting combo and furniture stylings at tables as well as the bar. Nice aesthetic for sure.
Ordered the carne asada street tacos and my friend had the carne asada quesadilla. Both were very flavorful. Fresh ingredients all the way around, and multiple sauces provided as well.
Service was great too. Multiple waitstaff checked in and made sure we were taken care of.
I’ll definitely be back to try out other things on the menu!

tacos are insanely amazing and were perfect the way they were (no need to add salsa). the guac was so delicious, one of my favorite guacs in the city. highly recommend!
and the service was phenomenal. everyone was super friendly, our food came out super quickly, and they even gifted us some sunglasses for our two little girls because we sat outside.

Popped in for a quick bite and had a great experience! The chips were warm & fresh with a wonderful homemade salsa and queso! My tiki chicken bowl was delicious and the hubs enjoyed his pork burrito with queso! Kim was a lovely attentive hostess! We will be going back soon!

This place is so cute!! And the food and drinks were so good! Everything got to our table super quickly! We ordered chips and queso, the Surf and Turf burrito, and 3 tacos (the Tempura Baja with shrimp, the sweet chili shrimp taco, and the dripping birria taco). Everything was delicious! Love the new Shawnee location of Tiki Taco! Tiki Taco is a fast-casual local taco chain offering great tasting tacos with regularly rotating and interesting flavors. The drinks are also great (alcoholic and NA). This location is located in a cute corner of Downtown Shawnee and is great for a casual get-together or anytime you need a quick bite. The staff here are super-friendly and deserve all the stars! Can’t wait for the warmer weather to try out the patio!

Been to the Shawnee location twice so far and loved everything I’ve ordered. Margaritas were delicious. Birria, Korean and carne asada tacos are great. The guac was amazing. Not a huge fan of the salsa. Friend ordered a burrito and enjoyed it. Chips were fresh and tasty! I will be back

1st visit. 1 birria taco, 1 fish taco, chips/queso and side of refried beans. With tip $24.95. Very nice employees. Restaurant was clean and well maintained but the food was mediocre at best. Birria taco had good flavor but was very small and soggy. Fish taco was supposed to be seared. It was fried in awful tasting oil and was also soggy. One bite and it went in the trash. Beans, queso were both good. This is why I rarely eat out anymore.

This place is absolutely amazing. Every time we’ve come in, the service is wonderful – the staff are SO friendly and they’re always so quick to get anything you need – and the best part, the food is INCREDIBLE!! Really love the el pastor tacos with pineapple and the Korean beef tacos. Also recommend the street corn and cilantro lime rice sides. Give this place a try! You won’t regret it.
